A Roommate with “Scary Looking” People in His Room and Partying Juveniles

The Fairfax Police log for Sept. 5-9 includes burglaries, a stolen stroller and a vehicle vs. deer accident.

 

Sunday, Sept. 9 

Unwanted subject: 12:43 a.m. RP [reporting person] advises a subject has been staying at the premise for a week and he/she is not welcome there.

Public intoxication: 2:56 a.m. 19 Broadway. Arrest made.

Suspicious person: 12:52 p.m. Complaint of a subject who pulls a mattress out of the back of his van and sits on it in the roadway.

Welfare check: 1:16 p.m. Banchero Way. RP was supposed to go shopping with her neighbor today but is unable to make contact with her.

Found property: 3:46 p.m. Millennium Park. Anonymous male RP turned in a found Tagg brand GPS “dog tracker,” which was returned to its owner.

Noise complaint: 7:12 p.m. Deer Park Villa on Bolinas Road. Noise complaint of amplified music and voices. Second RP called a few minutes later to complain also.

Disturbance: 8:36 p.m. Wood Lane. Report of an altercation between a male and female. An officer responded and advice was given.

 

Saturday, Sept. 8 

Juvenile problem: 12:23 a.m. Fairfax Park on Bolinas Road and Elsie. Anonymous walk-in report at the Fairfax Police Department of a small group of juveniles at the park bench by the creek. RP was mostly concerned about their very young age (approximately 10 years old).

Sleeper: 5:20 a.m. Peri’s Silver Dollar on Broadway. Person sleeping in the back of the parking lot.

Suspicious circumstances: 2:35 p.m. Manor Road, Fairfax. Health and Safety Violation under the bridge, three men, one in a white shirt and two in black shirts. Citation issued.

Dog locked in car: 3:13 p.m. Good Earth on Center Blvd., east parking lot. Anonymous report of a dog that has been locked in a car for 15 minutes. The windows are cracked but the dog is panting. Vehicle has out of state license plates.

Noise complaint: 7:09 p.m. Peri’s Silver Dollar on Broadway. RP, along with another anonymous RP, complained that the volume level coming from the outside patio of Peri’s.

Noise complaint: 9:28 p.m. Deer Park Villa on Bolinas Road. Complaint of the volume of the music being too excessive.

 

Friday, Sept. 7 

Burglary: 5:47 a.m. Washing Well on Center Blvd. RP said her business was broken into. Unknown loss.

Vehicle vs. deer: 9:16 a.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Non injury accident. Report taken.

Stolen stroller: 9:53 a.m. Forrest Avenue. Stroller was stolen from the front yard of her residence. It’s worth approximately $400.

Suspicious circumstances: 11:06 a.m. Frustuck Avenue. Second-hand report of a subject pointing a stun gun at her roommate. Disposition: unfounded.

Barking dog: 12:47 p.m. Spruce Road. Complaint of a dog that has been barking all day.

Found property: 4:23 p.m. Rudy Contratti Field on Bank Street. RP brought in a signed check she found in the bleachers.

Vandalism: 6:28 p.m. Pacheco Avenue. RP’s window to the rear of his residence was tempered with.

Citizen assist: 6:32 p.m. Frustuck Avenue. RP would like to speak with an officer regarding “scary looking” people her roommate has in his room.

Burglary: 8:48 p.m. San Gabriel Drive. RP’s residence was burglarized sometime over the last week.

Noise complaint: 9:09 p.m. Deer Park Villa on Bolinas Road. RP, along with an anonymous woman, both reported that the noise level from the villa is excessive.

Juvenile problem: 11:38 p.m. Creek to the rear of Inyo on Pastori Avenue. Reporting person said a large group of juveniles is partying on the creek bank opposite her residence. 

 

Thursday, Sept. 6

Civil problem: 2:08 a.m. Hillside Drive. Landlord lives above the RP, listens to whatever the RP says and complains of noises when the RP leaves her computer on all night long. Landlord knew the details of the RP’s family relationships, etc. Landlord also came into the RP’s apartment unannounced on Sept. 1 when there was no emergency situation requiring entry. Landlord left immediately upon seeing the RP was there. RP didn’t want an office to respond. She just wanted to document that this happened.

Disturbance: 4:55 a.m. Frustruck Avenue. RP is locked in his room, which is upstairs. There is a hasp on the outside of the bedroom door. One of the other residents put the lock in the hasp so the RP can’t get out.

Suspicious circumstance: 11:34 a.m. Bolinas Road. Two men attempted to break into a woman’s residence. They left toward downtown area.

Vehicle accident: 3:39 p.m. Broadway Avenue. Truck vs. vehicle. No injuries. Truck driver tried to leave, but employees stopped him. The victim was able to get the driver’s license, but the subject has been uncooperative.

Citizen assist: 5:09 p.m. Dominga Avenue. Nails were lined up in the RP’s driveway.

Barking Dog: 9:08 p.m. Tamalpais Road. Anonymous complaint of a dog barking constantly. RP says this is an on-going problem at this address.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 5

Suspicious person: 6:38 p.m. 100 block Cascade Drive. A woman is standing in the middle of the road with a large sign saying “slow down.” RP said the woman jumped in front of his car. He was not going very fast and was able to stop.

Dead bird: 6:59 p.m. Cascade Drive. RP saw a dead bird caught in a net. RP wanted an officer to check to determine whether the netting was legal.

Hazard: 7:07 p.m. Mono Avenue and Bolinas Road. A small child is riding a skateboard in the street. No parent nearby to supervise.
