The Fairfax police log for May 25-28 also includes angry cyclists and a bird stuck in a fence.

 

Monday, May 28

Pitbulls running loose: Scenic Road. 1:49 a.m. Caller complained about two pitbulls running loose.

Found property: Bolinas Road. 8:07 a.m. Reporting person found an ATM/debit card and brought it to the Police Department.

Cyclist hit by car: Broadway. 4:46 p.m. Caller was riding his bicycle when a car struck him. He was not injured.

Angry cyclists: Bolinas Road. 4:54 p.m. Reporting person complained that numerous bicyclists are riding in groups, two or three across. Motorists have been honking at them and the bicyclists have responded with angry gestures.

Parking complaint: Bolinas Road. 7:25 p.m. Vehicle is blocking caller’s driveway.

Threats: Bolinas Road. 8:24 p.m. Caller in the front lobby said he was threatened by a subject.

Suspicious circumstance: Park Road. 8:29 p.m. Caller found her front door tampered with and believes someone tried to break in earlier today.

 

Sunday, May 27 

Pitbulls out and about: Scenic Road. 7:41 a.m. Two pitbulls are loose and running in the neighborhood.

Hit-and-run: Hillside Drive. Caller’s car was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the night.

Restraining order violation: Hillside Drive. 6:14 p.m. Reporting person’s ex wife is at the house unwanted and in violation of an existing restraining order. Arrest made.

Lost/stolen wallet: Manor Road. 6:40 p.m. Reporting person left his wallet on top of his car then drove away from his residence.

Alarm: Mitchell Drive. 9:31 p.m. Point of activation was chlorine room door. False alarm.

Suspicious laughter: Toyon Drive. 10:30 p.m. Subjects knocked on reporting person’s door. When the RP answered he didn’t see anyone but heard laughing.

 

Saturday, May 26

 Siren fix: Bolinas Road. 8:01 a.m. Conducting siren maintenance.

Tree down: Wessen Lane. 10:03 a.m. Large tree branch down.

Pitbull complaint: Scenic Road and Redwood Road. 10:24 a.m. Caller reported a brown/white pitbull running loose in the area.

Disturbance: 2107 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. 11:06 a.m. Anonymous report of yelling and screaming between two people at the residence.

Theft: Yeah Baby on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. 5:38 p.m. Caller just discovered some merchandise missing and suspects two teenage girls that were just in the shop stole it.

Suspicious person: Banchero Way. 10:22 p.m. Male subject has been yelling on and off for the past hour, steams of words and something about a “slut.” Caller said the subject was in the area roughly two years ago doing the same thing and is now back. No description, no exact location.

 

Friday, May 25

 Animal problem: Fronting #16 Cypress Drive. Reporting of a large black bird stuck in the fence slats in front of the residence. Animal was gone on officer's arrival.

Vandalism: Cascade Drive. Caller’s motorcycle was vandalized sometime during the night. Reporting person suspects someone may have attempted to steal it.

Rabbit rescue: Rocca Drive. 6:38 p.m. Officer initiated activity with a domestic rabbit in the roadway. An officer escorted the pet home.

Noise complaint: Meernaa Avenue. 11:10 p.m. Caller reported a party, with 5-10 people, music and talking in the rear patio of the basement unit. It’s an ongoing issue. Caller has spoken with the responsible party and the landlord multiple times, and called the police multiple times.
