Blotter: Good Earth Squatter and Multiple Graffiti Reports

The Fairfax Police log for March 28- April 3 includes a fight near Java Hut and a misplaced Mercedes.

 

April 3 

Citizen assist: 5:16 a.m. Good Earth Natural Foods on Center Blvd. RP requests an officer respond to document the amount of trucks at the loading dock.

April 2

Suspicious circumstances: 7:17 a.m. Bolinas Road and Cascade Drive. Officer was flagged down by a citizen who reported a shirtless subject with a bloody face walking up Cascade. Disposition: arrest made.

Citizen assist: 11:29 a.m. Good Earth on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP (reporting person) said a man has been squatting in the building and they would like him removed.

Suspicious circumstances: 5:52 p.m. Tamalpais Road and Sequoia Road. Report of two people in a car doing something in their laps and looking suspicious.

Disturbance: 6:27 p.m. Java Hut on Center Blvd. RP reported a verbal and minor physical altercation in the parking lot at Java Hut.

Stolen Vehicle: 10:56 p.m. 19 Broadway. Report of possible vehicle theft. Disposition: unfounded.

 

April 1

Domestic violence: 3:28 a.m. Shady Brooke Apartments on Merwin Avenue. Marin General Hospital emergency room has a victim of domestic violence in the emergency room at this time.

Service: 6:14 p.m. Downtown Fairfax. RP left his white Mercedes 300CE somewhere in Fairfax last night. He doesn’t remember where, and he doesn’t remember the license plate number. He said he was very sick with the flu when we went home. He would like a call if we find the car.

Public intoxication: 9:40 p.n. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Taylor Drive. RP hears a man yelling and screaming in the area. Disposition: arrest made.

 

March 31

Town code violation: 10:11 a.m. Claus Drive and Claus Circle. Yellow and silver truck with somebody living out of it for months now. Subject was last seen standing next to the truck 20 minutes ago. RP would like the subject advised he can’t live in his vehicle within town limits.

 

March 30 

Theft: 11:55 a.m. Good Earth Natural Foods on Center Blvd. RP thinks his MacBook Pro was stolen from the eating area at the market.

Service: 4:02 p.m. Peri Park on Park Road. The public restroom toilet has backed up and water is flowing out.

 

March 29

Suspicious person: 4:59 p.m. Peri Park on Park Road. Report of a female wearing a pink bikini top and very short bottoms, talking to herself and going through people’s strollers. Disposition: verbal warning.

Suspicious person: 5:30 p.m. Lost Mountain Gifts and Jewelry on Broadway. RP was concerned about a subject’s behavior toward her and her two girls.

 

March 28

Vandalism: Fairfax Plaza on Center Blvd. 1:45 p.m. RP said there was tagging on the garage enclosure on the east side and the back of the sign at the entrance near the Post Office. There may be more, but that is what the RP has seen so far. The tagging occurred overnight.

Vandalism: Fairfax Soap & Suds on Broadway (behind the building). 3:18 p.m. Anonymous RP called this morning to say there was graffiti on the building. The graffiti matches other graffiti found in the 700 block of Center Blvd.

Missing person: 7:0 p.m. Arboleda Circle. 911 call that RP’s daughter ran away. RP located her daughter before officers could arrive.

Service: 7:12 p.m. Women’s Club, Park Road. Officer participated in a neighborhood watch meeting.
