Traffic Complaint / Problem: 14:20 Occurred on Broadway, Fairfax. Report of a driver revving their vehicle’s engine behind bicyclists. Driver contacted and advised of complaint. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

Parking Complaint: 15:13 Occurred on Ridgeway Ave., Fairfax. Two cars parked opposite the driveway are in the gutter and obscuring the view to drive. Disposition: Unfounded.

 

Monday, June 17

Meet the Citizen: 09:05 Occurred at Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. Custody exchange. Disposition: Service Provided.

Vehicle Accident - Non Injury: 10:53 Occurred at St Ritas Church on Marinda Dr., Fairfax. Non-injury accident, both parties declined a report. Disposition: Service Provided.

Abandoned Vehicle: 12:17 Occurred on Hill Av, Fairfax. Vehicle parked for two weeks. Disposition: Service Provided.

Suspicious Circumstances: 15:53 Occurred at Sherwood Oaks Apartments on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. RP discovered a vehicle tire was punctured. Disposition: Advice Given. 

With Subjects: 18:57 Officer initiated activity at Parkade, Sir Francis Drake Blvd./Claus Dr, Fairfax. Disposition: Service Provided.

Noise Complaint: 20:48 Occurred at Youth Center on Park Rd., Fairfax. Report of approximately 6 high schoolers loitering and making noise, RP would like them moved along. Disposition: Service Provided.

Disturbance: 22:17 Occurred at Sherwood Oaks Apartments on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. 911 report of an intoxicated subject yelling and throwing his cell phone on the ground. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate. Disposition: gone on arrival/unable to locate.

Disturbance: 22:48 Occurred on Taylor Drive, Fairfax. Report of a verbal argument. Officers responded and both parties counseled. Disposition: Service Provided.

 

Sunday, June 16 

Miscellaneous Service: 00:40 Officer initiated activity at Inyo Av, Fairfax. Checking a bicycle similar to one reported stolen earlier today. Negative match. Disposition: Service Provided.

Public Intoxication: 01:21 Officer initiated activity at Broadway, Fairfax. Subject arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for Public Intoxication. Disposition: Arrest Made. 

Barking Dog: 02:48 Occurred on Tamalpais Rd, Fairfax. Ongoing problem with a barking dog. The RP initially called a couple of hours ago. The resident still hasn't returned and the dog continues to bark. RP requested a note be left on the gate for the dog's owner who is not home. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

Barking Dog: 08:09 Occurred on Spruce Rd, Fairfax. Dog has been barking for 15 minutes since the owner left. This is an ongoing problem. Disposition: Service Provided.

Hazard: 10:12 Officer initiated activity at Glen/Penny, Fairfax. The debris pile from the previous house fire has turned into a public dumping area. DPW was notified to handle the situation. Disposition: Service Provided.

Citizen Assist: 13:15 Occurred at Peri Park on Park Rd. Fairfax. RP reported that his green Cannondale bicycle was locked in a bike rack and the bike and rack were removed from the area during the Fairfax Festival. RP later located the rack and his bicycle. Disposition: Advice Given.

Vandalism: 16:26 Occurred on Maple Av, Fairfax. Officers responded on a report of yelling and screaming at the residence. They contacted a resident who advised that a subject that had just left and vandalized the residence.

Runaway: 18:42 Occurred on Spruce Rd, Fairfax. RP asked officers to BOL for his 11 year old daughter who ran away earlier this afternoon after being reprimanded. Shortly after he came in, she returned home. Disposition: Response Canceled.

Meet the Citizen: 19:28 Occurred at Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. RP came in to inquire about whether his missing cell phone might have been turned in. A phone matching the description was turned in within the mentioned time frame. The RP provided proof that it was his phone and it was returned to him.
