Fairfax Blotter: Report of Juveniles Pointing Guns at Vehicles and a Fight at Peri's

Tuesday, Aug. 27 

13:03 Occurred at Creekside Apartments on Sir Francis Drake Bl. , Fairfax. RP (reporting person) came in to report receiving numerous text messages from an ex-girlfriend, who was contacted and given a warning. Disposition: Advice Given.

16:39 Occurred on Arroyo Rd, Fairfax. RP reported that motorcyles and vans regularly park at this location, especially in the mornings, creating clearance issues for passing vehicles and pedestrians. Extra patrol requested.

22:29 Occurred on Westbrae Dr, Fairfax. Cellular transfer from CHP, male caller gave address and then disconnected. Officers responded and mediated a family dispute.

22:30 Occurred on Crest Rd, Fairfax. 911 report that someone rang the doorbell and when RP looked out the window, no one was there. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anything out of the ordinary. Disposition: GOA (gone on arrival)/UTL (unable to locate).

 

23:25 Occurred at Cascade Canyon School on Sir Francis Drake Bl., Fairfax. Cellular 911 report of a suspicious female on a possibly stolen bicycle. Area checked and officer was unable to locate the subject. 

Monday, Aug. 26 

00:38 Occurred at Peri's Silver Dollar on Broadway, Fairfax. Report of a physical fight. Parties separated on officer arrival and will head home. Disposition: Service Provided. 

07:58 Occurred on Sir Francis Drake Bl, Fairfax. RP reported a subject vanished into the redwood trees for a few minutes, across from 2505 Sir Francis Drake, possibly to urinate. She was concerned about the possibilites of his behavior given that school children are in the area. The subject was last seen walking westbound on SF Drake Bl. 

13:11 Occurred at White Hill School on Glen Dr., Fairfax. RP reported subjects appear to be back at the previously reported campsite. On arrival, the officer checked the site and found a pile of clothing with a hat, that appeared to be a person from a distance. There was no one at the site. Disposition: Service Provided.

13:34 Occurred on Bothin Rd, Fairfax. RP reported two sets of subjects in the neighborhood that she had not seen before and did not seem to fit in. The officer contacted one set and determined that they were working in the neighborhood. The other duo left prior to officer arrival.

14:44 Occurred at Fairfax Library on Sir Francis Drake Bl., Fairfax. Report of a male subject walking around the area and trying car doors. Subject was contacted and abated, no merit to crime.

14:46 Occurred on Hickory Rd, Fairfax. Subject arrested on a no bail misdemeanor warrant and booked into Marin County Jail.

15:49 Occurred on Sir Francis Drake Bl, Fairfax. Marin County Sheriff’s Office has a report of juveniles under the bridge, possibly pointing guns at passing vehicles. Officer responded for cover, subjects were warned and released.

15:59 Occurred on Sir Francis Drake Bl, Fairfax. Report of a male walking back and forth in the middle of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Subject contacted and given a warning. Disposition: Verbal Warning.

17:51 Occurred on Pacheco Av, Fairfax. Report of juveniles attempting to light a campfire, who ran away when spotted by RP. RP (reporting person) ensured the fire was out.

 

Sunday, Aug. 25 

00:37 Officer initiated activity at The Sleeping Lady Cafe, Broadway, Fairfax. Subject arrested for public intoxication and booked into Marin County Jail. Disposition: Arrest Made. 

04:04 Occurred on Forrest Av, Fairfax. RP was awakened by her dogs and saw a subject standing below the house by the stairs, smoking. She then saw another subject meet him there. When her husband went out to see who they were, they ran off.

07:21 Officer initiated activity at Peri's Silver Dollar, Broadway, Fairfax. Citizen flag-down to report a subject who appeared to be passed out to the rear in the parking lot. . Disposition: Service Provided.

11:32 Occurred at White Hill School on Glen Dr. , Fairfax. Report of 4-5 males camping out in the grove of trees near soccer field with 2 aggressive dogs. Extra patrol requested for later at night, when the subjects might return. Disposition: Log Entry Only.

13:05 Occurred on Iron Springs Rd, Fairfax. 911 report of smell of wood smoke, determined to be from a nearby BBQ. Disposition: Outside Assist.

15:55 Occurred on Ridge Rd, Fairfax. RP last saw his bicycle within past 2 days and just discovered it is missing from his carport. Bicycle was not locked. Disposition: Report Taken.

18:36 Occurred on Forrest Av, Fairfax. RP advised that four mailboxes were vandalized during the night. Extra patrol is requested for the neighborhood. Disposition: Extra Patrol.
