Fairfax Police: Dog Stuck in Fence, Woman Drinking at Peri Park, DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, May 26

Suspicious Vehicle: There was a car parked at Peri Park with a sleeper inside at 6:10 a.m.

Warrant Criminal: There was a report of a drunk person in a house on Geary Avenue bothering the resident. An arrest was made.

Animal: A small dog had its head stuck in a fence on Crescent Circle at 1:40 p.m.

Welfare Check: A resident wanted a welfare check on her daughter, who has not returned phone calls for nine days.

Stolen: A bike was stolen on Muriel Place.

Wednesday, May 25

Disturbance: A resident reported that another resident called him, crying, because her dad was fighting with his girlfriend on Pine Drive at 2:52 a.m. It was determined it was a verbal dispute only.

Theft: Unknown subjects went through an unlocked car at the Sherwood Oak Apartments and took the manual and other items.

Garbage Complaint: A number of items were left outside on Taylor Drive with a sign that said “free.”

Burglary: A resident believed someone broke into her house on Frustuck Avenue overnight and vandalized it.

Disturbance: A resident requested assistance with a family dispute.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a group was drinking and causing problems in Peri Park at 5:31 p.m. The resident also said one of the subjects threatened to stab him. He was located and arrested for public intoxication and brandishing a weapon.

Hazard: Water was flowing on Bolinas Road, where MMWD have markings indicating they were going to do work.

Alcohol Violation: There was a woman sitting at a table at the children’s playground at Peri Park with a bottle of wine at 6:57 p.m.

Tuesday, May 24

Domestic Violence/Disturbance: A resident emailed about a possible incident of domestic violence at the Robinhood Manor the day before.

Citizen Assist: A resident’s car was hit on April 15 and the person left a note, but since then the resident had been unable to contact the subject.

Found: A bike was found at Fairfax Inn.

Animal: A raccoon was stuck in a storm drain at Mono and Pacheco Avenues at 8:36 p.m. It freed itself.

Disturbance: There was the sound of doors slamming and yelling at the Creekside Apartments at 10:26 p.m.

Monday, May 23

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a car that had a woman inside it on Cascade Drive at 12:03 a.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking starting at 6 a.m. on Madrone Road. It started barking at 7:20 a.m. the day before.

Parking Complaint: A woman’s garbage hasn’t been picked up and Marin Sanitary Services said it was because they couldn’t get past several parked cars on Rocca Drive.

Trespassing: A resident reported that a subject was trespassing, who had previously been warned of trespassing, on Mono Avenue. He was arrested for trespassing and for violating his terms of his probation.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident wanted to speak with an officer about a situation at Manor School.

Disturbance: A woman was causing a disturbance at the bus stop at the Parkade at 11:52 a.m. and she then got on the bus.

Alcohol Violation: A subject was cited for possession of an open container at Peri Park at 12:47 p.m. She was also given verbal notice for a driver’s license suspension.

Fire: A resident at Willow and Chester Avenues was burning something that leaves a heavy “blue” smoke.

Welfare Check: A woman appeared to be running from three males on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:43 p.m.

Child Abuse Report: A cross-report of possible child abuse at the Robinhood Manor Apartments was filed.

Insanity: A subject who walked into the police department was transported to the crisis unit.

Disturbance: A bartender at 19 Broadway reported a woman was hitting somebody on the patio at 10:46 p.m. It was determined it was verbal only.
