Fairfax Police: March 7-10
Thursday, March 10
Hit and Run: A car hit a building on Bolinas Road and drove away at 12:01 a.m. The driver was located and cited for a DUI and a hit and run.
Warrant Arrest: A warrant arrest was made on Broadway Avenue at 9:55 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity in the lower Pavilion Lot at 12:13 p.m.

Disturbance: An uncooperative caller reported that her son was at the front door and he wasn’t welcome.
Juveniles: There was a petty theft by a student at White Hill.
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade at 8:25 p.m.
Disturbance: A physical altercation was abated at FairFix at 10:11 p.m.
Wednesday, March 9
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer checked an unoccupied car with an open door at Mitchell Drive and Deuce Court at 1:23 a.m.
Citizen Assist: A resident reported that a woman was coming down Bolinas Road on a motorized scooter and appeared to be having some difficulty.
Barking Dog: A dog started barking at 7:30 a.m. on Madrone Road and barked on and off for about two hours.
Lost/Stolen: A resident’s purse was either lost or stolen in downtown Fairfax on Monday night.
Suspicious Circumstances: There was a possible unattended child on Bolinas Road at 2 p.m.
Animal Complaint: Two dogs were running loose around Manor School at 2:03 p.m.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for four hours on Pine Drive.
Driving Under the Influence: A resident reported following a DUI driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:48 p.m. Officers determined no crime had taken place.
Tuesday, March 8
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a car at Deer Park at 1:32 a.m.
Barking Dog: A resident reported that her neighbor’s barking dog woke her up again on Madrone Road.
Vehicle Impound: A car was booted for having excess of six months expired registration at Broadway and Merwin Avenues.
Animal Complaint: A resident reported a dog had been hit by a car at the top of Bolinas Road and Fawn Ridge.
Warrant Arrest: Officers contacted a subject with three outstanding felony warrants at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Kent Avenue at 11:17 a.m. He was arrested and booked into the county jail for the warrants, resisting arrest, battery, and probation violation.
Theft: A resident on Pine Drive reported items stolen.
Stolen Vehicle: A caller called from out of state to report that her car had been stolen in Fairfax. Officer determined that a family member of the caller knew where the car was and no theft had taken place.
Monday, March 7
Vandalism: A resident on Kent Avenue reported that her car had been vandalized twice recently. In both cases, a rear taillight has been knocked out.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident observed subjects dumping garbage into a debris box belonging to a business behind Fair-Anselm Plaza.
Child Abuse Report: A report was cross-filed on possible child abuse.
Lost/Stolen: A resident lost a Blackberry and a leather jacket in downtown Saturday night.
Civil Problem: A resident on Pine Drive thought his neighbor took his mail with a check for $300 in it.
Barking Dog: Two dogs were barking on Scenic Road for awhile at 10:39 p.m.
