Fairfax Police: DUIs, juvenile accosted, store owner drinking

Friday, Aug. 20

Probation Violation: A couple of guys were smoking marijuana and drinking in a white van on Bolinas Road at 12:46 a.m.

Noise: People were out on their deck at the Creekside Apartments partying at 1:17 a.m.

Disturbance: There was a verbal argument between two people on Creek Road at 12:17 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A juvenile reported that a man looked at her in an unwelcome manner and said "looking good" on Park Road at 4:52 p.m. The man did not make any physical contact.

Suspicious Vehicle: There was an unoccupied, parked car with expired registration at the Parkade at 9:27 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 19

Noise: Someone was playing the electric guitar on Piper Lane at 5:30 a.m.

Animal Complaint: A pitbull on Acacia Road dislodged a portion of a resident's fence and was trying to come into the yard at 11:13 a.m. She brought her dogs in and was afraid to go into the yard.

Theft: A transponder was stolen from a car on Lansdale Avenue.

Theft: A resident's bike was stolen from his driveway on Pine Drive that morning.

Driving Under the Influence: There was a possible DUI driver on White's Hill, weaving and speeding, at 4:27 p.m.

Trespassing: A woman reported three people on her property without permission on Valley Road at 5:30 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence: A resident was following another driver on Broadway Avenue at 5:56 p.m. and was watching it swerve all over the road. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver was not under the influence.

Alcohol Violation: A customer reported that the owner of Belly Up Liquidators was drinking in the store at 7:25 p.m., but the response was cancelled.

Lost Child: An officer located a lost child on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:08 p.m. and returned the child to the responsible adult.

Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity on Center Boulevard in San Anselmo at 9:24 p.m. A report was taken.
