Fairfax Police: Fireworks, Medical Attention for Intoxicated Juvenile, Subject Sleeping in Post Office

Fairfax Police: March 11-13

Sunday, March 13

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported having an odd interaction with several subjects in Fairfax the night before and thinks one may have taken her phone.

Suspicious Person: Three subjects just went under the building at Fair-Anselm at 1:44 p.m.

Animal Complaint: There is an ongoing problem with people not cleaning up after their dogs on Lansdale Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a man on a telephone pole on Porteous Avenue without a uniform. It was determined he was from Comcast.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident was approached at Fairfax Market by a man, with a foreign accent, who offered him $200 to drive him to San Francisco.

Assist Outside Agency: A resident reported that his former roommate was at the residence on Manor View and was manic at 8:45 p.m. He said he was going to leave, but was behaving strangely. It was determined to be in the sheriff’s jurisdiction, so Fairfax police waited on scene until the sheriff arrived.

Noise: There was loud music and people on Bolinas Road at 10:10 p.m.

Saturday, March 12

Public Intoxication: A resident flagged down an officer about a possible intoxicated subject on Bolinas Road at 12:13 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: A resident reported several subjects in a large white sedan pulled into the area of Aloma Way and Alhambra Circle at 1:26 a.m. and were loitering there.

Fireworks: There were fireworks at Gestalt Haus at 1:43 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two men were observed drinking on the left side entrance to Deer Park at 9:45 a.m. and were still there at 10:31 a.m.

Noise: Request the Little League turn down their microphones. This is an annual problem.

Warrant Criminal: There was a warrant attempt on a subject on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:47 p.m.

Disturbance: A father and daughter got into a physical altercation at 1 p.m. at Casa Manana.

Domestic Violence/Disturbance: A resident reported that she was just involved in a physical disturbance with her husband on Laurel Drive at 7:14 p.m. He had left the residence and an arrest was made.

Juvenile: A security officer was out with a very intoxicated juvenile on Elsie Lane at 9 p.m. Medical attention was requested.

Juvenile: An officer was out with a very intoxicated juvenile at the Pavillion at 9:02 p.m.

Sleeper: There was a subject sleeping in the lobby of the Post Office at 10:06 p.m.

Friday, March 11

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade at 2:59 a.m.

Hit and Run: A resident’s son was hit by a car on his way to school in the morning at Scenic Road and Azalea Avenue and injured his arm. The driver stopped and asked if he was ok, and the resident’s son said no. The driver then drove away.

Warrant Criminal: An officer initiated activity at the Sherwood Oaks Apartments at 10:57 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: There were two cars with a juvenile and damaged bike near the Fairfax Library at 3:13 p.m.

Animal Complaint: There were four chickens running in the road on Manor Road at 4:33 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: An anonymous woman reported a suspicious occurrence at Marin Tack and Feed at 11:11 p.m.
