Fairfax Police: Juveniles Lighting Fireworks, Suspicious Subjects, Loud Dogs
The following information was provided by the Fairfax Police Department. It does not indicate conviction.
Monday, Aug. 22
Noise: There was an anonymous complaint of a subject using a gas-powered leafblower to the rear of Marin Tack and Feed at 7:16 a.m.
Fireworks: Juveniles were lighting off fireworks in the area of Creek Road and Dominga Avenue at 11:49 a.m.

Smart Meter Complaint: Suspicious circumstances were reported at the Parkade at 1:43 p.m. There was a disturbance.
Noise: A resident reported his neighbor had the television on excessively loud at the Bennett House.

Tuesday, Aug. 23
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:18 a.m.
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a car occupied by one person on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:41 a.m.
Disturbance: A subject parked in a resident’s driveway on Forrest Terrace was being uncooperative at 7:57 a.m.
Accident: There was a possible bike accident between two juveniles, with other drivers gathered around, at Laurel and Cascade Drives at 8:17 a.m.
Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade and a subject was cited for driving without a license at 12:03 p.m.
Restraining Order Violation: A subject left message on a resident’s phone in violation of a restraining order.
Barking Dogs: Dogs on Pine Drive were barking loudly at 9:34 p.m. This is an ongoing problem and the owner has been cited before.
Noise: A subject was outside yelling on Willow Avenue at 10:55 p.m. This has happened previously and can go on throughout the night.
Town Code Violation: Subjects were warned for being in the park after dark at the ball field at 11:27 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 24
Suspicious Circumstances: A van parked in the Parkade was smoking at 3:50 p.m.
Threats: A resident wanted a phone call about threats her daughter is receiving.
Hit and Run: A resident was in a hit and run accident earlier in the day, but didn’t notice any damage at the time. Now, she has noticed a dent that was not there before.
Suspicious Person: A resident came in to report a subject whose behavior he found suspicious. The subject was last seen heading through the Corporation Yard carrying a cloth bag and riding a bike.
Unwanted Subject: An unwanted subject was acting belligerently towards the staff at the Sleeping Lady at 9:07 p.m.
Noise: There as excessive noise reported from the downtown area at 10:55 p.m.
