Fairfax Police: Juveniles on Roof of School, DMV Papers Stolen, Drag Racing

Thursday, Feb. 24

Stolen Vehicle: A man called to report that his truck was stolen of Hillside Drive overnight. He then called back to cancel the report because a family member borrowed it without telling him.

Noise: A subject was yelling at passersby at the ballfield for no apparent reason at 9:56 a.m.

Citizen Assist: A resident reported that there was an unknown yellow powder on her porch on Scenic Road and she doesn’t know where it came from.

Assault: A resident reported that a neighbor assaulted his stepson at the Robinhood Manor Apartments.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Redwood Road at 12:10 a.m. and the driver was given a verbal warning.

Theft: A resident’s DMV papers were stolen by his roommate on Pine Drive.

Fire: Residents on Holly Road thought they could see smoke coming up from below them at 8:01 a.m. It didn’t appear to be fog.

Citizen Assist: An 18-month-old locked herself in the bathroom on Pacheco Avenue at 8:46 a.m. and there was no other access beside the locked door.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident gave two young men a check the day before and said they were using the money to buy books for school, but it was already cashed and the resident is now concerned they may have been lying about their use of the money.

Suspended Driver’s License: A subject was provided with a verbal notice about a suspended license on Broadway Road at 9:49 a.m.

Traffic Complaint: A subject races up and down the street on Olema Road every day, as though drag racing. It happens roughly every day, midday.

Restraining Order Violation: A resident on Hillside Drive was in violation of a restraining order.

Barking Dogs: Pitbulls were barking on Scenic Road for over an hour at 10:50 p.m.

Noise: Loud music was playing off and on on Archangel Court at 10:58 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

Suspicious Person: A flashlight was seen on the side of the Pavilion at 2:28 a.m.

Welfare Check: Officers responded to a welfare check for a Fairfax resident on Rocca Drive at 7:28 a.m.

Juveniles: Two juveniles were on the roof of Manor School at 11:04 a.m. throwing rocks.

Juveniles: Juveniles were on the roof of Manor School at 1:55 p.m. They were throwing water balloons at a resident’s house. When they left the roof, they run down to the creek and then come back for about an hour.

Suspicious Person: A subject sitting behind the Women’s Club drinking and talking to himself at 5:22 p.m.

Disturbance: Officers responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up and determined a family disturbance had taken place on Fawn Ridge at 9:04 p.m.
