Fairfax Police: Juveniles with Beer, Drug Arrest, Foamy Substance in Street

Thursday, June 30
Public Intoxication: A subject was arrested on Bolinas Road for public intoxication and booked into the county jail at 3:24 a.m.
Fraud: An unknown suspect accessed a resident’s bank account and withdrew money.

Suspicious Person: Two subjects who matched the description of possible bike thieves in the area were seen at Sunshine Bicycles at 2:34 p.m., possibly casing it.
Suspicious Circumstances: A passenger was sitting in the window opening, reaching into mailboxes on Cascade Drive at 2:37 p.m. It was determined he was placing flyers in mailboxes.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at the library.
Noise: It was requested that officers check the volume of the noise at the little league.
Alcohol Violation: There were four to five juveniles at Peri Park with numerous cans of beer at 5:57 p.m.
Noise: There was a group yelling profanities at passersby at Peri Park at 8:14 p.m.
Prowler: A subject appeared to be scoping the rear of a house on Canyon Road at 8:24 p.m.
Wednesday, June 29
Drug Violation: A subject was arrested for possession of drugs on Bolinas Road at 12:42 a.m.
Insanity: A resident requests officers check the welfare of her residence and her estranged boyfriend on Cascade Drive at 7:52 a.m.
Animal Complaint: A dog was found wandering in the downtown area and was brought into the police department.
Noise: There was a complaint that the music from the farmer’s market was too loud at 4:23 p.m.
Hit and Run: A customer at Sorella’s car was hit by another car that then left the area.
Vandalism: A car at Robinhood Manor Apartments was vandalized sometime during the night.
Hazard: There was a 55-gallon drum on the side of the road on Center Boulevard, partially blocking traffic.
Assist Outside Agency: Sheriff requested assistance on a possible trespasser on a hill above a resident’s house on Gregory Drive at 10:24 p.m.
Tuesday, June 28
Fire: There was a strong smell of smoke on Hillside Drive at 4:05 p.m.
Hazard: There was a foamy white substance on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:39 a.m.
Wire Down: A tree fell, taking a power line with it, on Meernaa Avenue at 10:04 a.m.
Juvenile: Several juveniles were riding their bikes on the ballfield at 12:36 p.m.
Hit and Run: A car was struck while in the Mono lot the night before.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident came in with her children to report a suspicious circumstance.
Theft: A resident’s son’s bike was stolen between 4:15 and 6:30 p.m.
Public Intoxication: Officers contacted a subject who was intoxicated to the point that he could not care for himself on Bolinas Road at 11:51 p.m. He was transported to detox.
Monday, June 27
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for two hours on Rally Court at 4:20 a.m.
Welfare Check: A caller was concerned about a Fairfax resident and requested that officers attempt to contact him.
Town Code Violation: A woman was living in her car on Inyo Avenue at 2:05 p.m.
Animal Complaint: A resident’s cat has been missing.
Insanity: A subject was disheveled and unable to care for himself at Broadway Avenue and Bolinas Road at 9:17 p.m.
Harassing Phone Calls: A subject was booked into the county jail after harassing phone calls violating conditions of his parole at 9:35 p.m.
