Fairfax Police: Man Follows Speed Limit, Juveniles Loitering, Scissors Stolen

Sunday, July 17

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a car occupied by three people at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Kent Avenue at 12:30 a.m.

Insanity Case: Conduct a welfare check for San Rafael Police Department on Oak Road at 12:37 p.m.

Animal: There were two German Shepherds walking on Bolinas Road without an owner at 6:16 p.m.

Traffic Complaint: A resident said he was strictly obeying the speed limit on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard from Ross to Fairfax and was the victim of several road rage incidents.

Probation Violation: A subject was cited for being in violation of the terms of his probation at School Street Plaza at 11:17 p.m.

Saturday, July 16

Suspicious Vehicle: A car was occupied by a sleeper at the Fairfax Library at 1:23 a.m.

Sleeper: There was a subject sleeping in Fairfax Park at 2:26 a.m.

Noise: A party was going on on Acacia Road at 4:16 a.m.

Dead Body: An elderly woman was in respiratory failure on Canyon Road at 7:05 a.m.

Civil Problems: There were problems between two residents in the same house on Cascade Drive. One left and the other doesn’t want him coming back.

Hit and Run: A woman reported someone hit her car at the Fair-Anselm parking lot.

Theft: A resident’s bike was stolen from the Fairfax Library a week ago.

Friday, July 15

Harassing Phone Calls: A resident called wanting to know how to get a restraining order against a neighbor. They had a dispute and the neighbor is texting her now.

Assist Outside Agency: There was a bike verse pedestrian accident on Bolinas Road at 8:32 a.m. and both parties were transported to Marin General Hospital.

Noise: There was loud music on Bolinas Road at 11:08 a.m.

Disturbance: A Smart Meter activist was upset with a PG&E worker at Pastori and Lansdale Avenues at 3:09 p.m.

Citizen Assist: A resident noticed that her hair-cutting scissors were missing on Tuesday. She has had construction work going on and feels the workmen could have taken the scissors.

Juvenile: Juveniles were loitering in front of 7-11 at 8:15 p.m.

Skateboarding Violation: Three or four juveniles were skateboarding on Park Road at 8:35 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for three hours on Porteous Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman was heard screaming at Azalea Avenue and Arroyo Road at 10:16 p.m.
