Fairfax Police: Moving into Empty Property, Disturbance at the Laundromat

Sunday, Aug. 28
Animal: A dog was found on Bolinas Road at 7:10 a.m.
Theft: There was a possible theft from a car on Dominga Avenue.

Noise: There was jackhammering on Live Oak Avenue at 11:39 a.m.
9-1-1 Hang-Up: On call back, a resident reported being shoved by a roommate and that roommate turned off the power on Pine Drive at 12:12 p.m.

Found: An ID card for a White Hill student was dropped off at the Police Department.
Threats: A resident reported receiving a threatening voicemail.
Theft: Sometime Saturday or Sunday, an unknown subject rifled through an unlocked car on Mono Avenue.
Trespassing: A young woman is squatting on a property, listed For Lease, illegally on Summer Avenue. An arrest was made.
Barking Dog: There were dogs barking on Sequoia Road at 6:26 p.m. The resident reported this is an ongoing problem.
Insanity Case: There was a public disturbance between family members on Cascade Drive at 6:58 p.m.
Insanity Case: A resident called in, sounding anxious and paranoid and said she had tried to kill herself in the past. She was calling from the payphone at the 7-11 at 9:28 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 27
Noise: There was a loud group of juveniles yelling at each other on Hill Avenue at 12:01 a.m.
Alcohol Violation: A group of kids were drinking alcohol on the bridge on Bridge Court at 4:35 p.m.
Suspicious Person: A subject was talking nonsense outside 7-11 at 5:25 p.m.
Town Code Violation: There was a group of subjects near a fire to the rear of Deer Park at 7:02 p.m.
Juveniles: Seven to eight juveniles were walking up and down the street at Creek Road and Porteous Avenue at 7:50 p.m., drinking and yelling.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for two hours on Pine Drive.
Disturbance: A man and two women were in a verbal argument at The Sleeping Lady at 10:11 p.m.
Noise: There was loud music going on on Creek Road for two hours.
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade at 11:28 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 26
Noise: Jackhammering was going on on Live Oak Avenue at 7:34 a.m.
Theft: A man tried to steal a leashed dog outside The Sleeping Lady at 9:29 a.m. He was stopped and didn’t steal the dog.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for three days on Taylor Drive.
Disturbance: A woman was screaming in Fairfax Soap & Suds and hitting things at 1:14 p.m.
Disturbance: The woman who was contacted earlier at Fairfax Soap & Suds returned at 1:47 p.m. and caused another disturbance. She then left and was walking towards the park.
Sleeper: A subject was sleeping in an open garage at the Fair Oaks Apartments at 11:44 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 25
Noise: There was a loud party on Mono Avenue at 3:26 a.m.
Barking Dog: There were two small dogs barking on and off on Hillside Drive all day.
Welfare Check: A resident is concerned about the welfare of his brother and would like officers to check on him.
Animal: A resident came in to complain about a man running a pitbull off-leash while kids were present at the ballfield.
Sleeper: A man was sleeping by the back fence at St. Rita’s at 12:06 p.m.
Barking Dog: Two or three dogs were barking on Hillside Drive.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Crest Road.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident could hear smoke between two houses on Bolinas Road at 4:56 p.m.
Disturbance: A resident’s daughter was pushing her mother around on Frustuck Avenue at 7:26 p.m.
Citizen Assist: A resident believes her housekeeper stole $5,000 worth of jewelry.
Noise: A subject was playing loud music in Doc Edgar Park at 9:38 p.m.
Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at Marin Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:28 p.m., a driver was determined to be driving without a license.
