Fairfax Police: Pizza Orderers Abscond, Medication Stolen

Thursday, Oct. 20

Domestic Violence/Disturbance: A resident wanted police advice.

Animal: A resident reported being bitten by a dog the day before on Meernaa Avenue.

Suspicious Person: A resident was approached by a subject by Fairfix who was behaving strangely and a mental welfare evaluation was requested.

Animal: There were complaints three off-leash dogs at Peri Park at 10 a.m.

Disturbance: There was a report from another agency of a subject “having a breakdown in the roadway” at Bolinas and Broadway at 11:51 a.m.

9-1-1 Hang-Ups: Someone in silver pick-up on Chester Avenue at 2:55 p.m. was screaming.

Animal: A dog was wandering in front of the fire station and appeared to be skittish but fine.

Meet the Citizen: A resident was in the police department lobby stating he needed a police report to file charges against a woman who stole over $40,000 in belt buckles, ties, and an “ape.” He was told he needed to speak with an officer and left at that point saying his attorney would be filing charges, because he was going to New York to speak with the United Nations now.

Theft: Three men ordered a pizza and when it was delivered they grabbed it and ran. The deliver guy chased them, but lost them behind Frog’s.

Unwanted Subject: A customer was in Lydia’s for hours, asking for help and soliciting information. He wasn’t taking people’s recommendations to contact the police and appeared to be distressed.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Kent Avenues at 2:13 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Vandalism: A car was vandalized during the night on San Gabriel Drive.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard someone on the roof of Giuliani Flooring at 8:43 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Burglary: A resident’s house was broken into on Rocca Drive and medication was missing.

Welfare Check: A resident received a letter in the mail from another resident, who said she wanted to charge him with a number of serious crimes, and the stated she wanted to sit down and have a meeting.

Theft: A resident wanted to report a theft at the Robinhood Manor Apartments.

Sleeper: A warning was given to someone sleeping in the Parkade.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

Suspicious Circumstances: Subjects were loitering around the police station at 4:43 a.m.

Found Property: A wheelchair was left at the intersection of Coolidge and Belle Avenues.

Citizen Assist: A subject’s roommate took all her belongings and put them outside while she was at work.

Town Code Violation: A subject was camping in the creek off of Pacheco Avenue.

Hazard: A resident was slightly injured by the tongue of a parked trailer on Dominga Avenue that couldn’t be seen by pedestrians.

Monday, Oct. 17

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard footsteps on her back steps on Dominga Avenue at 2:46 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject was seen crouching by the back door of 19 Broadway at 2:50 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency: Assist with a garbage can on fire on Butterfield Road at 2:38 p.m.

Vandalism: A resident’s front window was smashed sometime this afternoon on Park Road.

Noise: There was a loud noise coming from a truck on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Town Code Violation: A resident saw a subject get into an RV at Spruce Road and Sequoia Avenue at 10:03 p.m. and suspects they may be sleeping in it.
