Sunday, Dec. 18

Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity at the Fairfax Inn and an arrest was made at 1 a.m.

Welfare Check: A resident requested a welfare check on a person at 7-11 at 3:02 a.m.

Threats: A subject in Oregon was receiving threatening messages from her brother, a Fairfax resident.

Drug Violation: There were three intoxicated subjects at Peri Park at 2:31 p.m. Officers responded and a subject was cited for probation violation.

Citizen Assist: A resident wanted advice regarding ongoing harassment by a subject who has said he doesn’t like homeless people.

Noise: A resident walked in to the police station to report that the music was still on at RoCo at 11:28 p.m. It was left on loud after the business closed.

Saturday, Dec. 17

Driving Under the Influence: A driver initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:38 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Restraining Order Violation: A female was heard crying at the Creekside Apartments and said she should call the police at 1:40 a.m. A man was talking loudly to her. An arrest was made.

Noise: There were ten calls reporting live music and people dancing outside 19 Broadway at 2:17 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: A car slightly off the road on Fawn Ridge appeared to be stuck at 2:25 p.m.

Theft: There was a report of stolen jewelry by a caretaker.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for 20 minutes on Sequoia Road.

Unwanted Subject: A press crew at School Street Plaza wouldn’t leave at 5:09 p.m.

Found Property: A Specialized bike was found at the Fairfax-San Anselmo Children’s Center on Thursday and had been there since Tuesday. The resident wanted to fill out a form to claim it if the owner didn’t.

Hazard: There were subjects with signs standing in the road by the Parkade.

Disturbance: A resident reported a man was on the ground at the Parkade with another man stomping on him at 6:21 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on and off on Bolinas Road. This was the fourth time the resident had reported it and wanted it noted it was getting to the point where signing a complaint could occur if the problem continues.

Theft: Money was stolen from a residence on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Noise: Someone was slamming a skateboard in the backyard of a residence on Willow Avenue at 9:04 p.m.

Barking Dog: Two residents called to complain about a dog barking on Scenic Road at 10 p.m. It was getting worse.

Drug Violation: An officer initiated activity at the closed Albertson’s at 11:06 p.m. and a citation was issued.

Friday, Dec. 16

Theft: A subject failed to pay for a taxi fare, exited the cab and ran away on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:55 a.m.

Hazard: A strong smell of sewage was coming from in front of the Police Department. Department of Public Works responded.

Fire: Smoke was visible on Maiden Lane at 1:42 p.m. It was a controlled burn.

Animal: A resident found a border collie and was referred to the Humane Society.

Animal: Two men were selling puppies in front of Good Earth at 6:08 p.m. Officers determined no laws were being broken.

Suspicious Circumstances: A suspicious elderly man got on the bus and started talking to a resident and then got off and was walking behind United Market.

Town Code Violation: Two subjects were cited for open containers of alcohol at Peri Park at 9:21 p.m.

Town Code Violation: Residents reported a bonfire by the tennis courts at 9:40 p.m., but offiers were unable to locate.
