Fairfax Police: Public Intoxication, Subjects Inside a House, Skateboarding

Wednesday, April 27

Public Intoxication: A subject was arrested and booked into the county jail at 1:35 a.m. on Bolinas Road for public intoxication.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for ten minutes on Madrone Road at 6:20 a.m. There is a pending barking dog case in court.

Suspicious Person: There were two women going door-to-door on Cypress Drive in what appeared to be a suspicious manner at 10:13 a.m.

Skateboarding Violation: Officers were out with two skateboarders at the Parkade at 11:37 a.m., who were giving a warning.

Juvenile: A resident’s son was being verbally abusive to her daughter and threw things at the door on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Child Abuse: A child came into the police department with his mother and wanted to speak to an officer about abuse by his father. It was determined it was outside Fairfax and in county sheriff jurisdiction.

Tuesday, April 26

Miscellaneous Service: A resident reported her water was not running at Marin and Olema Roads at 4:33 a.m. A check with MWWD revealed a large leak in the process of being fixed.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that he woke up at 6:30 a.m. and saw two people in his house on Wood Lane. He said they’d been coming into his house every night.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident found a needle in the back parking lot behind Marin Tack and Feed and was concerned.

Warrant Criminal: A subject was arrested for two outstanding warrants and booked into the county jail.

Hazard: There were three or four teenagers on a swing over the creek off of Creek Road.

Town Code Violation: A man was riding a small motorbike in Fairfax Park at 7:30 p.m.

Warrant Criminal: Officers attempted to serve a warrant on Bothin Road, but were not able to locate the subject.

Noise: Subjects were using power tools and playing loud music on School Street at 9:14 p.m. The resident thinks they’re deliberately making noise after hours because of a previous issue.

Domestic Violence: A woman reported that her boyfriend grabbed her arm and pushed her on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10 p.m. and then left. She subsequently reported it was a verbal dispute only.

Monday, April 25

Driving on a Suspended License: An officer initiated activity at the Pavilion at 12:18 a.m.

Disturbance: There was a 9-1-1 call with a male voice in the background at 2:52 a.m. Nothing was said into the phone. Officers responded and determined an argument had taken place.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Center Boulevard at 10:51 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency: Be on the lookout for an overdue juvenile from White Hill at 4:38 p.m.

Theft: Tax returns were stolen, possibly from the resident’s car in Fairfax.

Public Intoxication: An officer initiated activity at Fair-Anselm at 8:04 p.m. Helen Vine detox was full; an arrest was made.

Noise: A door was being slammed repeatedly on Willow Avenue at 8:23 p.m. Officers determined the resident was trying to repair the latch and lock.
