Fairfax Police: Public Intoxication, Water Balloons, DUI

Thursday, July 21

Noise: There was a loud party at Deer Park at 1:27 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A subject appeared to be passed out on the sidewalk in front of the post office at 3:23 a.m. He was booked into the Marin County Jail for public intoxication.

Traffic Complaint: A delivery truck was backing the wrong direction down a one-way street on Mono Alley.

Vandalism: There was vandalism of a plant and bench in front of Rainbow Fabrics sometime the night before.

Lost/Stolen: A resident reported her library card was stolen.

Medical: A resident’s boyfriend had a grand mal seizure on Wood Lane at 1 p.m.

Unwanted Subject: There were two unwanted subjects at a resident’s house on Tamalpais Road at 1:33 p.m. An arrest was made.

Citizen Assist: A resident locked her keys in the car and AAA can’t get in to retrieve them due to a magnetic lock. There were no cabs available and no neighbors were available to give her a ride.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident found a pair of women’s shoes and a large knife while trimming her bushes on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:30 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at the rear of the Pavilion at 9:52 p.m.

Wednesday, July 20

Suspicious Circumstances: There were two to three subjects walking around at the top of Spruce Road at 12:25 a.m. A resident sent her dog out and the lights went off, but when the dog came back in the lights went back on.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at Bank of America with a car occupied by four people at 12:39 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with two suspicious vehicles on Park Road at 12:59 and 2:29 a.m.

Animal Complaint: There was a dog off-leash on Wood Lane.

Verbal Notice for Suspended Driver’s License: There were two sleepers at Doc Edgar Park at 10:01 a.m. One was given verbal notice for a suspended driver’s license.

Sexual Assault: A woman reported an indecent exposure incident at Peri Park at 10:20 a.m. A man was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Theft: A bike was stolen from an unlocked garage the night before on Piper Court.

Accident – No Injury: A car hit a fire hydrant at Bolinas Road and Sherman Avenue at 3:31 p.m. The hydrant was spraying water.

Trespassing: A group of teen boys were trespassing in the pool at the Sherwood Oaks Apartments at 3:39 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Human feces were located in the redwood grove at Peri Park.

Suspicious Circumstances: There were numerous green blocks of mosquito dunk in the creek off of Dominga Avenue.

Juvenile: A resident requested assistance with her out of control juvenile.

Accident – No Injury: A resident reported she was involved in an accident at the Fairfax Theater.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man with two kids walks his bike up Ridgeway Avenue and then speeds down Vanni Lane several times each evening.

Suspicious Circumstances: Five or six subjects went up the hill behind Taylor Drive at 11:35 p.m.

Tuesday, July 19

Overdue Subject: A resident reported her teenage daughter was late getting home at 12:46 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Someone was screaming outside on Sherman Court at 1 a.m.

Noise: Subjects were yelling outside 7-11 on Bolinas Road at 1:59 a.m.

Verbal Notice for Suspended Driver’s License: An officer contacted a woman sleeping in her car on Merwin Avenue at 2:19 a.m. She was warned of the town code violation and also given verbal notice for a suspended driver’s license.

Driving Under the Influence: A subject who appeared intoxicated pulled into the parking lot of the Oak Manor 7-11 at 4:38 a.m.

Noise: Construction noise started at 7 a.m. on Meernaa Avenue.

Noise: A resident said construction started near Deer Park before 7:30 a.m.

Driving on a Suspended License: A subject was cited for driving on a suspended license on Center Boulevard at 11:22 a.m.

Wire Down: There was a low hanging wire on the east side of Cascade Drive.

Suspicious Person: A subject, who said he was a cable person, came up a dirt path at the back of a house on Cascade Drive at 3:11 p.m. and inquired about the address of the house. Officers contacted the subject, who was a cable repair person.

Drug Violation: Four younger looking subjects were smoking in front of a resident’s house on Rocca Drive at 6:12 p.m.

Loitering: Three subjects were loitering and talking loudly on Rocca Drive at 10 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Taylor Drive at 10:09 p.m.

Noise: A resident’s neighbors make a lot of noise between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. on Center Boulevard. She is also disturbed by the smell of marijuana smoke.

Monday, July 18

Warrant: A subject was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants on Bolinas Road at 2:05 a.m.

Alcohol Violation: There was a report of several juveniles drinking beer on the side of the road on Forrest Avenue at 5:49 p.m. One adult was cited for an open container.

Assist Outside Agency: There was an alarm going off somewhere in the area of Taylor Drive at 7:39 p.m.

Hazard: Water balloons were thrown at a resident’s car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:34 p.m.

Animal: A dog was making a lot of noise on Maple Avenue at 9:03 p.m.
