Fairfax Police: Pumpkins Not Stolen, Juveniles on the Roof, Rock Thrown

Sunday, Oct. 23

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at Ernst Kuchn Automotive at 12:32 a.m.

With Subjects: An officer contacted subjects who were taking pumpkins from Beach House Style at 2:06 a.m. They put them back, undamaged.

Public Intoxication: 19 Broadway was closing and a belligerent person was refusing to leave.

Noise: The neighbor upstairs was playing loud music on Mono Avenue at 3:27 a.m.

Theft: A locked bike was stolen from the roof rack of a car on Porteous Avenue during the night.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that her ex-husband was in the street on Willow Avenue, rummaging through his parked car and yelling at 11:45 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A car was driving recklessly and going to a residence on Pine Drive, then immediately leaving.

Disturbance: A resident was helping a friend move out at the Creekside Apartments, when the friend’s ex-girlfriend showed up and pushed the resident.

Barking Dog: A dog has been barking constantly throughout the day on Madrone Road and consistently for the past few weeks.

Saturday, Oct. 22

Noise: Loud music was coming from 19 Broadway at 1 a.m.

Disturbance: A resident’s roommate on Pine Drive harassed her throughout the night by yelling at her and coming into her room without permission.

Animal: A woman with three dogs off-leash was back at Peri Park for the third day in a row.

Assault: Around 11:30 a.m., a resident was sitting on his patio on Napa Avenue when a subject walking by threw a rock at him that almost hit him in the head. This is a recurring problem in the neighborhood.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman was sleeping by the dugout on the ballfield at 1:29 p.m.

Juvenile: Four juveniles climbed the side of Sorella’s and were dancing on the roof.

Barking Dog: Two dogs on Pine Drive were barking for 40 minutes at 8:03 p.m. No one was home.

Friday, Oct. 21 

Burglary: A burglary occurred at Marin Alliance at 2:05 a.m.

Burglary: An officer initiated activity on School Street and found a door open at 2:22 a.m.

Burglary: The tool room for the School Street plaza was also broken into.

Animal: There were three dogs running loose in Peri Park.

Hit and Run: A car hit a resident’s parked car on Napa Avenue.

Town Code Violation: A 20-year-old female was trying to earn points with book sales and became hostile after being turned away on Sequoia Road.

Disturbance: Two males were fighting outside Don’s Market at 6:02 p.m.

Domestic Violence/Disturbance: A resident came in to speak with an officer about an incident and an arrest was made.

Juvenile: A resident’s juvenile daughter was out of control on Cypress Drive at 9:53 p.m.

Disturbance: There was a party with 10-15 teenagers or young adults in the back yard of a house on Creek Road at 10:58 p.m.
