Fairfax Police: Resident Hit in Hit and Run, Items Stolen from Subject Sleeping Outside

Thursday, April 14

Civil Problem: A resident was in the hospital and wanted an officer to go check his residence on Pine Drive at 12:33 a.m. to see if there is a motorcycle on the roof, a car in the rear, and any visible signs of electricity.

Theft: A resident was sleeping outdoors near the 7-11 when his belongings were stolen at 2:11 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a suspicious vehicle at Arrowwood Lane and Oak Manor Drive at 4:43 a.m.

Citizen Assist: A resident wanted advice on a situation she was having with her neighbor and noise on Belle Avenue.

Citizen Assist: A resident said his landlord threatened to remove all his belongings while he was on vacation.

Hit and Run: A resident was struck by a car at approximately 10 a.m. at Good Earth and the driver left the scene without contacting him.

Trespassing: A resident wanted documentation of a trespassing warning given to a subject on the Marin Town and Country Club.

Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Kent Avenue at 8:56 p.m. and a citation was issued.

Wednesday, April 13

Driving on a Suspended License: A subject was cited at the Parkade for driving on a suspended license at 9:53 a.m.

Citizen Assist: A resident wanted to speak with an officer regarding a conversation that she felt was threatening to her.

Tuesday, April 12

Noise: A resident’s downstairs neighbor was banging on the ceiling on Belle Avenue at 12:56 a.m. The resident said her TV wasn’t on, she was just working on her computer, but the neighbor was banging on the ceiling below her.

Public Intoxication: An officer initiated activity at Bolinas Road and Mono Avenue at 1:19 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Driving on a Suspended License: A driver was cited for driving on a suspended license at Bolinas Road and Elsie Lane at 7:59 a.m.

Accident – Minor Injury: A cyclist was hit by a car, but was up and walking around, at Bolinas and Park Roads at 10:26 a.m.

Welfare Check: A welfare check was requested on a Fairfax resident on Maple Avenue at 11:17 a.m.

Disturbance: There was a verbal argument between two subjects in the Redwood Grove at Fairfax Park at 1:05 p.m. and one was using profane language.

Animal Complaint: A dog was running in the street at Bolinas and Park Roads at 4:03 p.m.

Juvenile: A resident reported that her son was being verbally abusive to her other children at 7:19 p.m. The call was lost before more information could be obtained.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer checked a car that was unoccupied and at the side of the road and partially in the ditch at Bothin and Monte Vista Roads at 9 p.m.

Noise: A resident wanted an officer to check the decibel level on a humming coming from cooling equipment at the Good Earth.

Monday, April 11

Driving without a License: A subject was cited for driving without a license on Center Boulevard at 11:12 a.m.

Noise: A resident reported loud compressor noises from Good Earth and requested that the noise be measured at her house.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported unknown subjects entering her unlocked car the week before and rifling through it on Rockridge Road. Nothing appeared to have been taken. Another neighbor was a victim of theft from her unlocked car the same night.

Child Abuse Report: The department received a cross-filed report of child abuse.

Driving on a Suspended License: An officer initiated activity at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Oak Manor Drive at 7:52 p.m.

Vandalism: There was vandalism at Bank Street and Broadway Road at 8:32 p.m.
