Suspicious Circumstances: The reporting party received a call from a person claiming to be a DEA agent and requested advice.
Assault: An unwanted person entered the Yoga Fairfax business and shoved a patron last week according to the reporting party who came to the Fairfax Police Department and requested advice.
Fraud – ID Theft/Checks: An unknown person used the ATM card from a Fairfax business to make numerous unauthorized transactions between 6/16 and 6/21.
Wednesday, June 22
Found Property: A travel pouch wallet was found on Whites Hill and was turned in at 8:29 a.m. The owner retrieved it later in the day.
Found Property: A phone was found on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. at 12:42 p.m. The owner was located.
Threats: Reporting party received a threatening letter and spoke with an officer for advice.
Traffic Complaint: A man reported that he was being threated by a male in a silver BMW M3 who was driving erratically and swearing at the reporting party at Don's Market on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. at 5:18 p.m.
Traffic Complaint: At 5:19 p.m. there was a complaint of a reckless, erratic driver at the Barefoot Café on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. It was related to the previous report.
Tuesday, June 21
Burglary: A burglary was reported on Bolinas Road at 7:41 a.m. Access was most likely gained through an unlocked door.
Hazard: An anonymous party reported at 8:17 p.m. that a subject is repeatedly “flying” down the hill on Ridgeway Avenue on a bicycle with a child on the back in a child seat.
Public Intoxication: A report of a subject lying down at 10:59 p.m., possibly passed out, in Fairfax Park. Officers located the subject who was allegedly intoxicated to the extent where he could not care for his own safety. Subject was arrested and booked into Marin County jail.
Noise Complaint: At 10:15 p.m. an anonymous party complained of a loud party on a deck on Forrest Terrace. The reporting party said that the neighbors are new and need to be advised regarding courtesy to people who have to work in the morning. Officers advised neighbors of the complaint.
Suspicious Circumstances: The reporting party on Bolinas Road believes her neighbors are purposely shutting off the water to her residence via the water shut off valve.
Monday, June 20
Dog Bite: A person called to report a dog bite from earlier in the day. The victim had advised that it happened in Fairfax. The victim called later in the day and it was determined that the incident actually occurred on Fairfax Street in Fresno. The victim was given advice on contacting the correct agency.
Stolen Vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen sometime during the previous night between the hours of 6-7 p.m.
Fraud – ID Theft/Checks: A reporting party on Hill Avenue checked his bank balance and found that his credit card had been fraudulently used.
