Fairfax Police: Rude Text Messages, Bike Found, Siren Test

Friday, Dec. 2

Harassing Phone Calls: An ex-boyfriend was sending a resident rude text messages.

Welfare Check: A child services employee wanted a welfare check on a child at an apartment complex on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:08 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer checked an occupied car at the end of Mitchell Lane at 1:57 a.m.

Noise: A leafblower was running for 15 minutes by Fair-Anselm at 6:33 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two subjects were working on an electrical box at the Parkade.

Miscellaneous: Monthly siren test at 11:45 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: A car hit a wall on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:17 p.m.

Fire: Smoke was sighted on White’s Hill.

Found: A bike was found in a ditch by the baseball field at White Hill.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for almost an hour on Frustuck Avenue.

Disturbance: Two parties with mutual restraining orders against each other called to report the other violating the order on Broadway.

Driving Under the Influence: There was a possible DUI driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, weaving and passing on the right, at 7:58 p.m. Sheriff and CHP were notified.

Saturday, Dec. 3

Noise: Two men were yelling profanity loudly at each other at an outdoor party on Scenic Road at 12:27 a.m.

Public Intoxication: There was an intoxicated subject in the area of The Sleeping Lady at 12:50 a.m. She was released to a sober friend, who took her home.

Noise: There was a loud gathering and music at the Fairfax-San Anselmo Children’s Center at 1:56 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a suspicious car stopped on their street on Redwood Road early in the morning.

Noise: There were multiple calls complaining about loud music coming from the Pavilion at 8:20 p.m., 10:20 p.m., and 11:20 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 4

Wire Down: There was a live wire down on Willow Avenue at 9:30 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: There was a collision at Bolinas Road and Broadway Avenue at 5:50 p.m.
