Fairfax Police: Vehicle Fire, Assault, Wallet Stolen from Laundromat

Friday, Sept. 30

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity in the Broadway parking lot at 3:49 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity in the Mono parking lot with an occupied car at 4:13 a.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour on Spruce Road at 9:44 a.m.

Vandalism: A resident attended a cross-country race at White Hill the day before and when he came out he found angry writing on his windshield and one side of the car had been keyed.

Animal Complaint: A dog was running in and out of traffic for 15 minutes on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:18 p.m.

Barking Dog: There is a recurring barking dog problem on Bothin Road.

Theft: A resident reported that his roommate stole his phone and drove off on Pine Drive at 8:27 p.m. He tried to stop the roommate, but said he was almost hit with the car.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman was shouting near Fairfax Lumber at 9:16 p.m.

Loitering: Four young men were smoking marijuana in front of a resident’s house on Rocca Drive at 9:18 p.m. This is a recurring problem.

Noise: Loud juveniles were yelling at Rocca and Taylor Drives at 11:24 p.m.

Burglary: A resident just noticed jewelry was missing from her jewelry box at the Willow Apartments. On closer inspections, the closet had been rifled through.

Saturday, Oct. 1

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour on Marinda Drive at 1:17 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A man with no shirt on was in front of 19 Broadway attempting to pick fights at 1:48 a.m. An arrest was made.

Disturbance: A resident at the Robinhood Manor Apartments reported that the man who shares her apartment was acting strangely and rushing at her and acting like he was going to pound his fist into the table.

Welfare Check: A subject was on foot in the 100 block on Bolinas Road accosting bicyclists at 10:04 a.m.

Insanity: There was loud yelling from a deck on Pine Drive about a subject who had locked himself out. He said he knew karate and was going to get in.

Animal: A resident reported that two dogs were chasing children on Glen Drive at 10:38 a.m.

Fire: There was a vehicle fire at Fairfax gas at 4:11 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Marinda Drive at 11:05 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject was hiding behind a garbage can, talking on a cell phone, on Taylor Drive at 11:22 p.m.

Noise: There were loud teenagers at Rocca and Taylor Drives at 11:38 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 2

Noise: There was a loud party on Scenic Road at midnight.

Warrant Traffic: An officer was out with two subjects in Mono Alley at 12:39 a.m. An arrest was made.

Public Intoxication: A verbal warning was given to a man at Peri’s at 12:54 a.m.

Noise: There was a loud party at Cascade Drive and Bolinas Road at 1:07 a.m.

Assault: Several callers reported a loud disturbance at Blackberry Lane and Creek Road at 1:10 a.m. A juvenile was smashing into cars. The incident escalated to another subject calling for help on Forrest Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that while walking her dogs at the Creekside Apartments another resident threw water on her.

Juveniles: A group of juveniles were on the roof of Manor carrying pipes.

Traffic: There is an ongoing problem with a speeding car on Forrest Avenue and a resident reported that several neighbors motioned for the driver to slow down and he laughed at them and sped up.

Burglary: A residence on Park Road was burglarized.

Noise: There was loud music coming from Deer Park Villa.

Theft: A resident had her wallet stolen from the laundry cart at the Washing Well.

Noise: Loud subjects were gathered on the bridge on Creek Road and drinking at 11:35 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident confronted another person who she believed stole her wallet at the Washing Well earlier in the day.
