Fairfax Police: Woman Screaming, Loud Parties, Hydrant Hit

Monday, Sept. 5
Suspicious Circumstances: A woman was heard screaming in the area of Scenic Road at 9:10 a.m.
Insanity Case: A subject on Piper Court said his roommate wants to commits suicide.

Theft: A resident’s bike was stolen outside The Hummingbird at 12:25 p.m. and he recovered it from the suspect.
Animal: There was an aggressive dog on the loose at Wreden and Frustuck Avenues at 4:10 p.m.

Welfare Check: A subject was threatening to hurt herself on Chester Avenue at 8:32 p.m. A resident was afraid she would start a physical altercation.
Sunday, Sept. 4
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a suspicious vehicle at the Fairfax Library at 12:11 a.m.
Noise: A neighbor was playing their TV loudly at the Bennett House at 12:17 a.m.
Noise: There was a loud party on Olema Road at 12:58 a.m.
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a suspicious vehicle on Bolinas Road at 1:11 a.m.
Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity at Pastori and Lansdale Avenues at 2:02 a.m. with a car without a plate and an arrest was made.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard a noise in the backyard around 2:15 a.m. on Bolinas Road. While investigating, she found a subject attempting to jump her fence to get out of her backyard.
Accident – No Injury: There was a two-car accident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:51 p.m.
Alcohol Violation: There were four to five subject passing around a bottle of alcohol on the steps of the Parkade at 3:47 p.m.
Disturbance: There was a possible public disturbance at the Sleeping Lady at 4:17 p.m.
Town Code Violation: A teenager regularly practices shooting his BB gun in the rear of his residence on Creek Road.
Alcohol Violation: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade at 7:33 p.m.
Noise: A resident was working with a power saw on Scenic Road all day and said he would go until 10 p.m.
Burglary: A resident’s home on Piper Lane was burglarized. He just arrived home at 9 p.m. and went through the whole house and doesn’t think the burglar is still there.
Fireworks: Fireworks were heard on Forrest Avenue and then juveniles ran down the street.
Saturday, Sept. 3
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a suspicious car at the closed Albertson’s at 12:14 a.m.
Disturbance: There was a verbal altercation on the west side of the Parkade lot at 1:13 a.m.
Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:27 a.m. and a citation was issued.
Noise: Neighbors were yelling and throwing things around on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:20 a.m.
Dead Body: CPR was started on a subject at Care Meridian at 4:58 a.m.
Tree Cut: There was illegal tree trimming by the Java Hut at 10:49 a.m.
Traffic Complaint: Cyclists have been riding on the sidewalk in downtown.
Traffic Complaint: A semi-truck appeared stuck/stopped at Lansdale and Pastori Avenues at 4:28 p.m. and people were yelling at the driver.
Driving Under the Influence: There was a possible DUI driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:10 p.m.
Theft: An unlocked bike was stolen from the Mono parking lot.
Noise: There were ten subjects making noise on the ballfield at 10:12 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 2
Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Mitchell Drive at 12:35 a.m.
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity in the lower Pavilion lot at 3:29 a.m.
Disturbance: A couple left in a car after a verbal argument and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Claus Drive at 9:58 a.m.
Accident – No Injury: A car hit a fire hydrant at Java Hut at 1:04 p.m.
Theft: There was property stolen from a backpack.
Insanity Case: An unwanted subject was swearing at everyone at Peri Park at 2:46 p.m.
Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:59 p.m. and a citation was issued.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for over two hours on Crest Road.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for an hour on Pine Drive.
Threats: A resident was receiving threatening messages from a patient’s son.
Noise: Multiple subjects were loitering on the hill behind Bennett House at 10:36 p.m.
Suspicious Person: An officer initiated activity with a subject at Fairfax Gas at 11:41 p.m.
