Fairfax: Resident Under Influence of Drugs, Subject Bleeding from Head, Check Stolen from Mailbox and Cashed

Sunday, Feb. 27

Theft: A bike was stolen from on top of a car on Cascade Drive.

Noise: There was loud music coming from a residence on Archangel Court at 2:38 a.m.

Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity at the closed Albertson’s at 2:11 p.m. and a driver was cited for driving without a license.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man near the bus stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Oak Tree Lane was ranting loudly at 4:06 p.m.

Restraining Order Violation: A man was reported at a residence on Tamalpais Road that he wasn’t supposed to be at at 6:33 p.m.

Animal: A dog was barking for over an hour on Piper Lane at 9 p.m.

Noise: Residents were working in their front yard on Porteous Avenue at 11:38 p.m., digging holes for poles with a light on.

Saturday, Feb. 26 

Unwanted Subject: An unwanted patron at 19 Broadway had already been asked to leave at 12:26 a.m., but kept coming back.

Public Intoxication: An officer initiated activity at Szechuan Chef at 2:07 a.m. and a resident was arrested for public intoxication.

Warrant Criminal: An arrest was made at 7-11 on Bolinas Road at 4:28 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: Four subjects not known to the area were sitting in a dark SUV at Hickory Road and Cypress Drive 7:51 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity with a car at Deer Park at 9:31 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was an anonymous complaint of two dogs barking excessively on Scenic Road at 10:16 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 25

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at Spruce and Park Roads at 1:44 a.m.

Barking Dog: A neighbor’s dog was barking for the past 20 minutes on Madrone Road at 6:55 a.m.

Welfare Check: A welfare check was requested for a subject who was on the phone and said they needed to go to a hospital.

Miscellaneous: Water was coming out of a storm drain at Bolinas Road and Frustuck Avenue at 10:21 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man, possibly on drugs, was trying to open a resident’s front door at the Sherwood Oaks Apartments and was still wandering around the complex at 2:48 p.m. He was arrested.

Barking Dog: There was an anonymous complaint of a dog barking “all the time” on June Court.

Suspicious Person: Two subjects were in the parking lot of Iron Springs at 4:55 p.m. and had been being disruptive and cursing inside the bar. One was carrying a saxophone.

Assist Outside Agency: A subject was bleeding from the head at 19 Broadway at 5 p.m.

Theft: A resident’s check was stolen from her mailbox. The subject then attempted to cash in the check for more than it was written for.
