Fireworks, Checks Stolen, Wife Tries to Fix Heater

Sunday, Jan. 1

Noise: There were horn and party sounds at Frustuck Avenue and Coree Lane at 12:07 a.m.

Noise: Lots of fireworks on Blackberry Lane and people yelling at them to stop.

Fireworks: Fireworks started around 1 a.m. on either Frustuck or Hickory.

Theft: A resident’s purse was stolen from Peri’s. She later recovered it, but the wallet and cell phone were taken from it.

Public Intoxication: An intoxicated man was stumbling in front of 19 Broadway at 2:18 a.m.

Vandalism: Teenagers were making noise and tried to start a fight on Frustuck Avenue at 2:52 a.m.

Trespassing: There was a subject trespassing on the Marin Town and Country Club on a bicycle at 12:32 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A subject was intoxicated at Fair-Anselm at 9:08 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 31

Burglary: A resident received a call from her bank advising her that someone tried to cash one of her checks. She found a box of blank checks was stolen.

Open Door: The front door of the library was open after it was closed.

Vandalism: A resident reported her brother came over and broke down her door because she wouldn’t give him money.

Driving Under the Influence: A resident was following a possible DUI driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:55 p.m.

Noise: A resident wanted a decibel reading of a neighbor’s generator on Willow Avenue at 6:35 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 30

With Subjects: An officer contacted a group in front of Nave’s at 2:03 a.m.

Hazard: A resident reported his wife was in the basement trying to fix the heater, but he is afraid she will cause a fire or explosion.

Driving without a License: A driver was cited for driving without a license on Center Boulevard.

Skateboarding Violation: A subject was skateboarding in traffic at Bolinas and Broadway.

Disturbance: A subject was parked at School Street and someone was yelling at him and threatening him and telling him he was going to have his car towed.

Warrant Criminal: A subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Victor Court.

Drug Violation: While on a warrant arrest, the officer found the subject to be in possession of illegal drugs.

Alcohol Violation: A subject was cited for an open container violation in the Mono lot.
