Hitting Bats on Ground, Statue Stolen, Fights

Monday, Dec. 26

Welfare Check: A subject wanted someone to check on his father, because no one has responded to phone calls in four days.

Unwanted Subject: A subject was refusing to leave Café Lotus at 10:44 a.m. He was abated from the premise, but didn’t meet the criteria for public drunkenness.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking all day on San Gabriel Drive.

Noise: It sounded like 15-20 teenagers were having a party on the bridge that goes up towards Forrest Avenue at 11:59 p.m. Officers determined it was an adult party at a residence.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

Suspicious Circumstances: There were three to four men with bats hitting them on the ground at Northbay Gas at 1:08 a.m.

Noise: There was screaming and yelling on Forrest Avenue at 1:23 a.m.

Theft: A resident’s bike was stolen sometime during the night on Love Court.

Citizen Assist: A resident wanted to speak with an officer about the No Parking signs his neighbor has posted on Manor Road.

Area Check: Construction was going on at the Fairfax Health Center on Center Boulevard at 12:15 p.m. and there was a strong odor of gas.

Theft: A resident’s statue was stolen from her front yard on Cascade Drive worth approximately $1,000.

Burglary: A resident’s bike was stolen on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard sometime between Dec. 24 and Dec. 27 from his locked garage.

Lost/Stolen: Two days earlier, a resident set his backpack down at Bolinas Road and Broadway Avenue and when he went back to get it it was gone.

Citizen Assist: An irate subject was complaining about a cyclist riding on the sidewalk at the Picaroto Cleaners at 2 p.m.

Vandalism: There was a broken window at the front of the Marin Alliance for Medical Marijuana.

Noise: Loud music was coming from above a resident’s apartment at Sherwood Oaks at 8:41 p.m.

Noise: A resident at Sherwood Oaks felt her upstairs neighbor was deliberately creating excessive noise after she previously complained about his noise.

Suspicious Vehicle: A car was parking in the parking lot at White Hill for 20 minutes at 10:40 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Vandalism: The front windshield of a resident’s car was vandalized sometime during the night on Rocca Drive.

Accident – No Injury: There was a car that hit the Manor School fence.

Assist Outside Agency: Officers assisted the sheriff’s office with an eviction notice on Pacheco Avenue.

Restraining Order Violation: A resident’s mother was at the restrained parties apartment and refused to leave.

Drug Violation: Two teenagers were smoking marijuana on Rocca Drive at 7:14 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident came in to the police department to report that her neighbor had been looking through her window on Lansdale Avenue.

Public Intoxication: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:23 p.m. and an arrest was made.

Barking Dog: Dogs were barking for over an hour and half on Bolinas Road at 11:06 p.m.

Noise: There was a loud party at the Charter Oaks Apartments at 11:22 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Hazard: A concrete trash can was moved onto Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and was blocking the road at 1:25 a.m.

Public Intoxication: An officer located an intoxicated man at Broadway and Bolinas at 1:28 a.m. and the subject was booked into the county jail.

 Noise: There was loud music, possibly from Nave’s, at 1:56 a.m.

Public Intoxication: An officer initiated activity at the Parkade at 3:38 a.m. and an arrest was made.

Suspicious Circumstances: A bus on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard had an “Emergency – call 9-1-1” sign on the front in place of the destination.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking since 7:30 a.m. on Cascade Drive.

Theft: A resident reported someone stole a piece of her car the night before last at Bank of America.

Vandalism: There was graffiti at Peri’s.

Animal: A dog appeared to be lost on Westbrae Drive.

Alcohol Violation: A subject at the bus stop at the Parkade was cited for an open container.

Warrant Criminal: Officers contacted a subject at Fat Angel who had a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Suspicious Vehicle: There was a suspicious vehicle at Rhino Gas at 11:25 p.m.
