Jewelry Stolen from Two San Anselmo Residences

Police reports from the Central Marin Police Authority for Aug. 26 – Sept. 3 include a stolen car, two residential burglaries and a commercial burglary.

Sept. 3

23:55 DRUNK DRIVING — Occurred on Sycamore Av, San Anselmo. A woman was arrested for drunk driving. She was booked at MCJ. Disposition: Arrest Made.

12:47 FRAUD — Occurred on San Anselmo Av, San Anselmo.  Officer requested a case number for a fraud report. Disposition: Report Taken.

08:05 PROBATION VIOLATION — Officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Blvd, San Anselmo. Officer reported he was out with two subjects. One subject took off running up the hill, but the officer advised there were no wants on him. The second subject was served with a notice of a driver’s license suspension.  While officers were in the area, a third subject was contacted and arrested for public intoxication and probation violation and booked into MCJ. Disposition: Arrest Made.

14:15 WARRANT ARREST — Occurred on Laurel Av, San Anselmo. Officers arrested the a subject pursuant to contacting him at the residence. A man was booked at Marin County Jail for a no bail warrant held by MCSO for revocation of probation for burglary. Disposition: Arrest Made.

 

Aug. 30

15:23 STOLEN VEHICLE — Occurred on Hilldale Dr, San Anselmo. His vehicle is missing from the front of the residence, last seen at 1000 hours.  Officer contacted the RP.  Vehicle was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System and a Bay Area bulletin was sent. Disposition: Report Taken.

 

Aug. 27

12:49 GRAND THEFT — Occurred on Redwood Rd., San Anselmo. A necklace and other items were taken from her residence over the past couple of days. Officer contacted the RP (reporting person) and a report was taken. Disposition: Report Taken.

 

Aug. 26

13:13 COMMERCIAL BURGLARY — Occurred on San Anselmo Av, San Anselmo. RP would like to report that money is missing from the safe. No forced entry. RP believes an unknown subject entered the business from the back door and took the money from the unlocked safe. Disposition: Report Taken.

 

16:38 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY — Occurred on Sequoia Dr, San Anselmo. RP just returned home and found her back door propped open. RP looked inside and can see jewelry was taken from a jewelry box on her dresser. She is standing by in her vehicle in the driveway.  The residence was checked and officers were unable to locate the suspect(s).  RP stated she was gone from 0830-1630 hrs, but her husband was home around noon and may have heard a sound.  Disposition: Report Taken.
