Man Exposes Himself at Peri Park

Fairfax police arrested William Goetze, 28, of Corte Madera, this morning for exposing himself to a woman at . 

The woman, reportedly, was walking her dogs through the park around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday morning when a man yelled out, "What's going on?" Once he had her attention, she told police, he pulled down his pants, exposing himself.

The woman then ran to the Fairfax Police Department nearby and reported the incident.

According to police, at 10:24 a.m. Police Chief Chris Morin located Goetze, who matched the description of the subject, at Bank Street and Broadway Road. Goetze, said Morin, ignored requests to stop and was detained by the chief.

He was identified by the woman as the man who had exposed himself to her in the park.

Goetze initially denied the allegations, said police, but then said the incident, as reported by the woman, was correct.

Goetze was arrested for indecent exposure and booked into the county jail.
