UPDATE: Power Restored to All but 300 After Outage
More than 1,000 people were without power beginning at 11:30 a.m., but the power has been restored to most except for 300 locations in Ross and San Anselmo.
UPDATE: 1:40 p.m. Power has been restored to all PG&E customers except for 300 in Ross and San Anselmo. PG&E officials said they still do not know what caused the outage.
A possible blown transformer has caused a power outage in to parts of San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield and Larkspur, according to PG&E and Ross Valley Fire Department officials.

A transformer may have blown near 61 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross. PG&E is on the scene and is evaluating the power line, according to a PG&E spokesperson.
According to the PG&E outage map, 1,147 customers are without power. The outage started at 11:29 a.m., according to PG&E. An estimated time of restoration is not available.
