UPDATE: Novato Resident Killed in Monday Motorcycle Crash in West Marin
Investigation ongoing, but appears driver lost control of bike.
A 26-year-old Novato man died Monday in a solo motorcycle accident in West Marin.
The victim has been identified as Justin Olinyk, according to Sgt. Keith Boyd, spokesman for the Marin County Coroner's Office.
California Highway Patrol began receiving calls Monday around 5 p.m. about a motorcyclist in the water on Highway 1, approximately one mile south of Tomales. Responding emergency personnel located Olinyk and his motorcycle, which was submerged nearby on the west side of Highway 1.

Olinyk is survived by parents Brian and Elizabeth Olinyk and a younger brother.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, but it appears Olinyk lost control of his bike. Arrangements are pending.

The body was found a mile south of Tomales, where a creek flows into Tomales Bay, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
