Neighbor's Noise Mistaken as Peri's Bar Music and a Playground Hazard

Saturday, June 15 

Driving Under the Influence: 02:38 Officer initiated activity at Sir Francis Drake Bl/Oak Manor D, Fairfax. Subject arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for Driving Under the Influence. Disposition: Arrest Made.

Suspicious Circumstances: 09:48 Occurred on Meernaa Av, Fairfax. RP (reporting person) would like to speak to an officer about a suspicious telephone call received yesterday. Disposition: Advice Given.

Hazard: 11:47 Occurred at Peri Park on Park Rd., Fairfax. RP reports a potential hazard in the playground. Disposition: Service Provided.

Noise Complaint: 15:51 Occurred at Peri’s Silver Dollar on Broadway., Fairfax. RP is on Dominga and is complaining of loud music. RP called back to cancel after finding out that the source was a neighbor, not Peri's. Disposition: Response Canceled.

Theft: 17:58 Occurred at Pavilion on Bolinas Rd. , Fairfax. RP reported the theft of her bicycle from the front of the pavilion. Disposition: Report Taken.

Alcohol Violation: 19:13 Occurred at Parkade on Sir Francis Drake Bl/Claus Dr., Fairfax. RP reported three subjects drinking alcohol at the bus stop. Disposition: Verbal Warning.

Assist Outside Agency: 19:23 Occurred on Glen Dr, Fairfax at the end of a fire road. Marin County Sheriff’s Office requested an officer respond to cover a deputy out looking for four subjects who were reportedly tagging the water tank. Disposition: Outside Assist.

Noise Complaint: 22:26 Occurred on Oak Rd, Fairfax. Anonymous RP complained of a loud party with music playing and loud people outside. RP would like them to quiet down. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

 

Friday, June 14

Suspicious Circumstances: 00:12 Officer initiated activity at Womens Club, Park Rd, Fairfax. Citizen reporting a subject standing on the bridge near the Women's Club yelling at people. Disposition: gone on arrival/unable to locate.

Noise Complaint: 00:13 Occurred at Downtown on Bolinas Rd/Broadway., Fairfax. A lot of loud noise coming from the downtown. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

Driving Under the Influence: 02:19 Officer initiated activity at Sir Francis Drake Bl/Pastori Av, Fairfax. Subject arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for Driving Under the Influence. Disposition: Arrest Made.

Sleeper: 02:35 Occurred at Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. Disposition: Verbal Warning.

Fraud - ID Theft: 02:36 Occurred at Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. A cab driver reported being defrauded by a passenger. Disposition: Counter Report.

Miscellaneous Service: 16:19 Occurred at Fairfax Park on Bolinas Rd/Elsie., Fairfax. A bungee tightrope stretched across Fairfax Park, impeding through pedestrian traffic. Disposition: gone on arrival. 

Trespassing: 16:46 Occurred on Scenic Rd, Fairfax. RP came home and was advised that there were approximately 20 juveniles skateboarding inside his dry pool earlier in the day. Disposition: Advice Given.

Noise Complaint: 21:06 Occurred on Arroyo Rd, Fairfax. Loud yelling and screaming, possibly related to a graduation party. RP is concerned there may be alcohol involved. Disposition: questioned on arrival.

Lost/Stolen: 21:28 Occurred on Forrest Av, Fairfax. RP lost an iPad and would like a phone call if it is turned in. Disposition: Log Entry Only.

 

Thursday, June 13

Theft: 16:39 Occurred on Sir Francis Drake Bl, Fairfax. RP reports the theft of a (rented) wheelchair from outside her apartment, sometime during the day. Disposition: Report Taken. 

Suspicious Circumstances: 17:16 Occurred on Willow Av, Fairfax. Possible burglary in progress. RP called in a subject entering the apartment who was not the resident. On arrival, officers contacted the subject and found that he was a friend of the resident. Disposition: Unfounded.

Juvenile Problem: 18:08Occurred on Creek Rd, Fairfax. Anonymous report of juveniles breaking bottles under the Creek Road bridge. Disposition: gone on arrival/unable to locate.

Generic Fire Call/Not Specified: 19:55 Occurred on Deuce Ct, Fairfax. Neighbor's fire alarm is going off and they can see smoke from the balcony and smell smoke. Disposition: Report Taken.

Animal Complaint/Problem Misc: 21:44 Occurred on Bolinas Rd, Fairfax. Fawn hit by a car. Humane responded and picked up the injured animal. Disposition: Outside Assist.

Juvenile Problem: 23:00 Occurred at St Ritas School on Marinda Dr. Fairfax. A group of teenagers, biking and walking in the parking lot next to the school, making a lot of noise.

Parking Complaint: 23:10 Occurred on Scenic Rd, Fairfax. A van blocking the roadway above the listed address. The RP had to go down the wrong way and became involved in a dispute with another driver as a result. Disposition: Advice Given.
