No Pants Party of One and Statue Hit-and-Run

The Fairfax police blotter for Oct. 23-28 includes concerns about a homeless person who may make noise at night.

  

Sunday, Oct. 28

Suspicious circumstances: 1:16 p.m. White Hill School on Glen Drive. Five men on motorcycles drove up to the school and are now pushing on the fence trying to get into the schoolyard.

Shopping cart full of stuff: 4:59 p.m. Fairfax Lumber and Hardware on Broadway. To the rear of the shopping center there’s a shopping cart full of stuff that has been sitting all day. RP is concerned it belongs to a homeless person who might make noise at night. No person seen.

Shots fired: 8:54 p.m. Berry Trail. RP said five shots just occurred down the hill, possibly near the start of Tamalpais.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Noise complaint: 3:17 p.m. Henry Bothin Center on Bothin Road. Complaint that the neighbor’s water fountain is too noisy.

Alcohol violation: 7:59 p.m. Iron Springs Pub and Brewery on Center Blvd. Anonymous RP said there was under-age drinking going on inside the business. RP hung up without saying anything else. Officer determined the accused people were over 21 years of age.

Party: 10:13 p.m. Spruce Road. Loud music, screaming, possibly a party. RP would like them to turn down the music and deal with the screaming.

Noise complaint: 10:38 p.m. Willow Avenue. Loud party, music and loud voices, kids screaming. No fighting.

 

Friday, Oct. 26

Stolen bike: 9:14 a.m. Sherwood Oaks Apartments on Bolinas Road. RP’s son’s bike worth $600 was stolen last night.

Citizen assist: 1:04 p.m. RP does not know where she last parked her car other than in the area of 12 Napa. There is a GPS on the dashboard.  

No pants: 6:41 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. A caller reported there was a woman in the lobby wearing no pants. Officer contacted the woman who agreed to put her pants back on and keep them on.

 

Thursday, Oct. 25

Hit-and-run: 5:19 p.m. Redwood Road. Yesterday a vehicle backed into the RP’s driveway and hit a statue causing it to break. The driver got out, looked at the statue, then left.

Hazard: 10:02 p.m. Bolinas Road. RP reported a log in the roadway on Bolinas Road. RP said it was near the town limit. Officer determined it’s in the Marin County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction.

Domestic violence: 10:42 p.m. Piper Court. RP said his girlfriend is beating him. Arrest made.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 24

Stolen bike light: 2:30 a.m. 19 Broadway. Rode bicycle to the bar, came out around 2:15 a.m. and the front light was stolen.

Lost/stolen: 12:13 p.m. Bolinas Road and Broadway. RP lost a box full of (leather) drink coasters somewhere in the downtown area last night.

Fireworks: 8:17 p.m. Cascade Drive. Report of fireworks in the area. Responsible was advised of complaint.
