Police: Bed Frame Stolen, Alcohol Drunk

Monday, Feb. 13

Citizen Assist: A woman believed someone followed her home and requested an officer conduct a walkthrough near her residence on Buena Vista Avenue at 12:28 a.m.

Petty Theft: A bed frame was stolen off the roof of a car on Park Drive.

Petty Theft: There was a theft from an unlocked car on Woodside Drive.

Burglary: A resident was away for a few weeks on Pine Street and when she returned found someone had been in the residence and consumed alcohol. A neighbor called later to advise her son was responsible and sent him to the police department to speak with an officer.

Animal: A dog on Avenue Del Norte seemed unattended for a few nights and was barking constantly.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

Annoying/Harassing Phone Calls: A resident reported receiving several harassing phone calls the night before, one of which was threatening.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a suspicious circumstance regarding a lock in his house on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Animal: A dog was in a car with the windows rolled up on Magnolia Avenue.

Disturbing the Peace: A woman was causing a disturbance on Center Boulevard at 12:48 p.m.

Citizen Assist: A resident’s shopping cart with her personal items was taken. Officers located the cart in the store with all the resident’s property.

Suspicious Vehicle: A resident reported he followed a car from San Rafael whose license plate was covered up with tape.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

DUI Driver: During a traffic stop on San Anselmo Avenue at 1:57 a.m., an officer determined a driver was driving while under the influence. He also had an outstanding felony, no bail warrant out of Santa Monica. He was booked into the county jail.

Collision – Minor Injury: There was a car v. motorcycle collision at Butterfield Road and Suffield Avenue at 8:43 a.m.

Driving without a License: An officer initiated a traffic stop on Center Boulevard at 12:50 p.m. and a man was cited for being unlicensed. The car was turned over to a licensed driving.

Narcotics: A subject was smoking cigarettes and marijuana on Center Boulevard at 1:24 p.m. Officers found the complaint to be unfounded.

Disturbing the Peace: There was an unwanted subject at a residence on Yolanda Drive causing a disturbance at 1:56 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject with a bloody hand was stumbling through the area around Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:19 p.m. claiming someone had attacked him.

Grand Theft: A resident reported her husband’s bicycle was taken from her open garage on Oak Knoll Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a disoriented female walking westbound on Center Boulevard at 9:36 p.m. She was carrying a flashlight and said she was looking for Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Officers found her daughter escorted the woman to her residence.

Thursday, Feb. 16

Driving with an Expired License: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Stetson Road in Kentfield at 10:28 a.m., a subject was determined to be driving without a valid license. The subject was cited and released and the car was impounded for 30 days.

Fraud: A resident noticed fraudulent transactions on her bank account and said someone obtained her account number and produced fraudulent checks in her name that were later cashed totally $2,1000.

Barking Dog: A dog was howling for half an hour on Oakland Avenue at 6:50 p.m. It is an ongoing issue.

Juvenile: There were four or five male juveniles riding their skateboards into traffic on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:27p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A man and woman were arguing on Red Hill Avenue at 8:14 p.m.
