Police: Missing Kid, Lots of Smoke

Thursday, March 1

Assist Fire: Smoke was coming out of an electrical outlet on Monterey Avenue at 1:15 a.m.

Petty Theft: Sometime during the night, both of a resident’s unlocked cars on Millbrae Avenue were entered and two iPods and some cash were taken.

Collision – Minor Injury: There was a minor injury collision at Sequoia Drive and Red Hill Avenue at 11:50 a.m. Two subjects were transported to Marin General for treatment.

Suspicious Person: A woman was walking on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and screaming profanities at 5:53 p.m.

Reckless Driving: There was a reckless driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:53 p.m.

Hit and Run: A car collided into the side of a vehicle at Butterfield Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:44 p.m. and drove off.

Suspicious Circumstances: A car had a subject in the passenger side holding an infant and was not wearing a seatbelt.

Unwanted Subject: A man was in a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and was refusing to leave at 10:28 p.m. He had been warned in the past not to return.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

Missing Person: A resident reported that her son was missing. Officers checked the area and weren’t able to locate the juvenile. He was entered into the missing persons database and a teletype was sent out to the Bay Area. The mother later reported that the child returned home.

Sleeper: A subject was possibly sleeping in a car on Prospect Avenue at 3:29 p.m.

Petty Theft: A phone was stolen on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Assist Fire: A resident opened her front door on Oak Springs Drive and could see a lot of smoke in the area, but couldn’t see any flames or where it was coming from. Officers and firefighters responded, but could not locate a source of fire.

Monday, Feb. 27

Fraud: A debit card was stolen from a business on Center Boulevard at 11:26 a.m. and charges appeared in the East Bay.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for the last hour on Pine Street.

Suspicious Person: A man was acting strange in the area of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:14 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A man was sitting in a car with the doors open on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:21 p.m. He seemed upset and screaming.

Warrant Arrest: An officer initiated activity on Bennit Avenue at 8:49 p.m. with a woman who had an outstanding warrant from Marin County. She was booked into the county jail.

Driving on a Suspended License: At a traffic stop on San Anselmo Avenue, an officer determined a man was driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released and his car was impounded.
