Police: Shirtless Woman Disturbs Peace

The following was reported by the Fairfax Police Department. Arrest does not indicate conviction.

Sunday, Apr. 15

7:34 a.m. TRESPASSING
A citizen reported seeing smoke coming from a wooded area behind a convenience store aroudn Arrowwood Lane. A verbal warning was given.

12:39 p.m. TRAFFIC COMPLAINT
Sunshine Bikes requests extra patrols for vehicles/drivers failing to stop and yield for pedestrians at Center Boulevard at Pastori Avenue.

12:53 p.m. LOST/STOLEN
A Fairfax resident's houseguest lost their cell phone in the downtown area on Bolinas Road and Broadway.

2:21 p.m. NOISE COMPLAINT
A citizen reports an ongoing noise problem with a cleaning business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and requested a decibel reading. The officer responded but was unable to get a positive reading and notified the cleaners of the complaint.

2:36 p.m. PARKING COMPLAINT
An anonymous complaint was made of several vehicles parked and leaving insufficient clearance on Muriel Place. An officer checked the area and vehicles in violation were moved.

5:23 p.m. PUBLIC INTOXICATION
A report was made of a woman with blond hair and not wearing a shirt was said to be beligerent and disturbing the peace at the Parkade on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. An arrest was made on suspicion of public intoxication.

Saturday, Apr. 14

12:22 a.m. DISTURBANCE
Two subjects were in a verbal argument on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. They were given a verbal warning.

12:36 a.m. PUBLIC INTOXICATION
A subjected was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Dominga and Sherman Avenues.

2:02 a.m. DISTURBANCE
A couple was reported arguing loudly at Sherman and Dominga Avenues. A resident asked them to quiet down but they started up again and started walking down the street, still arguing.  They were gone on arrival of police.

2:24 a.m. NOISE COMPLAINT
A resident reported a party in the area of Meernaa Avenue in a beige colored duplex. She said the noise is mostly loud talking. They responsible parties were advised of the complaint.

3:12 a.m. NOISE COMPLAINT
A person is playing his stereo very loudly on Mono Avenue. He was advised of the complaint.

9:13 a.m. MAJOR INJURY ACCIDENT
A reported accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred on Cypress Drive.

10:19 a.m. WARRANT CRIMINAL
A man was reported laying in the roadway in front of Coffee Roastery on Bolinas Road. He then got up and is now sitting next to the Roastery. The man was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant.

6:23 p.m. NOISE COMPLAINT
Someone reported that amplified music is coming from the Women’s Club on Park Road.

8:14 p.m. OVERDUE SUBJECT
A person on Ridge Road called to say a friend was two hours overdue and requested officers to be on the lookout for him. The person called back shortly after to advise that the friend had been located.

Friday, Apr. 13

1:37 a.m. ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A resident of Mono Avenue called to say the household pet — a dachshund/chihuahau mix — got out. The resident called back shortly afterwards to say that the dog had been located.

6:30 a.m. INSANITY CASE
A person was detained at a deli on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard for a petty theft.  He was determined to be a danger to himself and others and placed on a 72-hour hold.

9:12 a.m. ASSAULT
A woman on Love Court called to say a woman she knows assaulted her. An arrest was made.

10:13 a.m. ANY CIVIL PROBLEM
A resident of Rockridge Road would like to speak to an officer about her vehicle being “stolen.”

6:15 p.m. PARKING COMPLAINT
A vehicle was blocking the handicapped access at a bar on Broadway. A citation was issued.

7:02 p.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON
Two men were reported in a verbal argument in front of a store on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and have been wandering back and forth and behind the store. They keep looking inside the windows and then checking the street. The reporting party thinks they may be casing the store.  The men were gone on arrival of the police.

10:52 p.m. ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A white dog bolted out of Fairfax Park and into traffic. The reporting party is concerned it may be lost and officers were advised to be on the lookout.

11:35 p.m. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
A person reported a vehicle was swerving, then going slowly and then speeding up on Broadway at Pacheco Avenue. The driver was contacted and advised of the complaint but the driver was not under the influence.
