Central Marin Police arrested a Woodacre woman Tuesday afternoon after an allegedly drunken drive through San Anselmo that ended with her assaulting several officers, Central Marin Police officials said.

After hitting a number of other cars, the vehicle stopped near Butterfield Road, with Fairfax Police assisting in detaining the driver, who resisted arrest and assaulted several officers, Jervan said.

Nickel was medically cleared and booked into Marin County Jail, where she remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.

One driver was injured in the collision and taken by paramedics to Marin General Hospital. A second subject, a passenger, had a complaint of pain, but was medically cleared at the scene.
