U.S. Coast Guard crews responded Tuesday to a report of a body in the
Bay near Angel Island.
Few details were immediately available about the body, Coast Guard
Lt. j.g. Sean Kelly said at 7:15 a.m.
Kelly said officials did not know if the body was that of a sailor
who was missing after a boat sank near the Golden Gate Bridge early Monday
The "Alma" sank in the Yellow Bluff area near the bridge and Coast
Guard crews searched overnight for the missing sailor, who was believed to be
the only person aboard the 30-foot boat.
