San Anselmo: Nefarious Activity, Parties, Juvenile with Marijuana

Sunday, Oct. 16

Suspicious Circumstances: Extra patrol was requested on Sir Francis Drake at 12:15 a.m. A group was heard in the area and thought they were involved in ‘nefarious’ activity, but couldn’t say what they were doing specifically.

Suspicious Person: A resident reported an unknown person rang her doorbell on Ross Avenue at 4:10 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A man was sitting in his car on Shaw Drive and looking at women at noon.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported an out of control juvenile on Traxler Road at 12:47 p.m.

Probation Violation: There was an intoxicated man at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Butterfield Road at 1:13 p.m. He was cited for probation violation and being in possession of an open container. He was taken to a detox facility.

Battery: A resident reported a physical altercation on Tunstead Avenue at 3:09 p.m., but didn’t want to pursue charges.

Burglary: A resident returned home to his house on Ross Avenue at 7:09 p.m. and electronics were missing from his house.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking for over an hour on Mariposa Avenue at 8:03 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that he thought he saw camping lights on a vacant residence on Hillside Avenue at 9:58 p.m.

Noise: There were loud juveniles on Sunnyhills Drive at 11:10 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 15

Noise: There was a loud group on Broadmoor Avenue at 12:04 a.m.

Missing Person: A resident reported that her juvenile daughter and two friends were missing. Officers checked the residence on Sais Avenue and the children were found in one of the rooms.

Prowler: There was a suspicious female subject on Butterfield Road at 2:05 a.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:41 a.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A woman was yelling at Tunstead and Cedar Avenues at 2:56 a.m. Officers contacted two subjects in a verbal altercation.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Center Boulevard at 8:40 a.m., a man was cited and released for driving without a license.

Public Intoxication: There was a subject with an open container of alcohol on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:10 a.m.

Petty Theft: Prescription medication was taken from a residence on San Anselmo Avenue at 1:35 p.m.

Accident: There was a vehicle collision on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:38 p.m.

Suspicious Person: There was a possibly intoxicated subject at Center Boulevard and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:36 p.m.

Juvenile: There was a party on Oak Avenue at 11:02 p.m. with multiple cars and juveniles blocking the road.

Friday, Oct. 14

Probation Violation: A resident reported a juvenile in violation of her probation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:16 a.m. She was arrested and booked into juvenile hall.

Possession of Marijuana: A juvenile was arrested for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:05 p.m.

Accident: There was a two car collision at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 3:52 p.m.

Accident: San Rafael PD reported they were with two subjects on Fifth Avenue who were in a car collision that occurred in San Anselmo.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a suspicious subject approached her and was acting strangely on San Anselmo Avenue at 4:28 p.m.

Noise: There was loud music at a residence on Indian Rock Road at 8:46 p.m.
