San Anselmo Police: $6 and Oxygen Tank Stolen, DUI

Thursday, May 26

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported loud banging noises outside the residence on Buena Vista Avenue at 3:29 a.m.

Petty Theft: Approximately $6 in change was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Butterfield Road.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a disturbance regarding a subject smoking a cigarette outside Pretty Baby at 5:26 p.m.

Petty Theft: Oxygen tanks were stolen from under a vehicle on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:49 p.m.

Wednesday, May 25

Petty Theft: There was a theft from an unlocked car on The Alameda at 3:27 p.m.

Public Intoxication: An intoxicated subject was reported at Memorial Park at 4:29 p.m. He was arrested.

Citizen Assist: An officer was flagged down for a possible road rage incident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:56 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking at a residence on San Anselmo Avenue at 7:45 p.m.

Tuesday, May 24

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported hearing strange noises outside a residence on Buena Vista Avenue at 7:49 a.m. and was concerned due to strange occurrences during the week. The resident couldn’t elaborate on what was happening, but said he was worried and that it might be his imagination and then hung up.

Sleeper: A resident reported a man sleeping in a parked car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9 a.m.

Wires Down: There was a low hanging wire touching the ground on Spring Grove Avenue at 9:42 a.m.

Noise: There was loud music on Belle Avenue at 11:20 a.m. Officers determined there was no violation.

Fraud: A resident reported someone cashed two checks in her name.

Vandalism: There was new grafitti on Florence Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported there was a loud noise coming from a neighbor’s house on Elm Avenue at 6:19 p.m. Determined it was faulty plumbing.

Suspicious Person: A woman on Center Boulevard was asking for money and yelling at herself at 6:23 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A man was causing a disturbance on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:41 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Suffield Avenue at 10:09 p.m., a woman was determined to be driving under the influence. She was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Monday, May 23

Found: A bike was found at Lansdale and San Anselmo Avenues at 10:42 a.m.

Annoying Phone Calls: A resident reported his ex-girlfriend kept calling his cell phone and work place. Officers gave him advice.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a suspicious car driving eastbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:43 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was an anonymous complaint of a dog barking for over an hour on Broadmoor Avenue. It was an ongoing problem.

Lost: A resident lost his wallet in his driveway on Forbes Avenue. He was advised to cancel his credit cards.
