San Anselmo Police Arrest Man Suspected of Stealing Bike from Unlocked Garage

21-year-old San Rafael resident is suspected of stealing a bike from an unlocked garage in Corte Madera on Tuesday.

San Anselmo police arrested a local man suspected of stealing a bicycle from a residential garage in Corte Madera Tuesday, according to authorities.

San Rafael resident Erik Henry Wykowski, 21, was booked into  on charges of burglary and violation of probation in lieu of $50,000.

At approximately 5 p.m., on July 10, Wykowski allegedly entered an unlocked garage in a residential area near a bus stop on 101 Tamalpais Drive, according to Detective Vera Hicks. He took a bicycle and fled the scene.

The residents noticed the missing property and a witness spotted the suspect near the bus stop where he was arrested.
