San Anselmo Police: Car Spit On, Vandalism, Chainsaw

Sunday, Oct. 23

Burglary: Two bikes were stolen from property on Nokomis Avenue.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Park Drive at 11:06 a.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: There was an unattended car that was left running with packages inside on Greenfield Avenue at 1:21 p.m.

Accident – No Injury: An officer assisted with the exchange of information for a property damage only traffic collision at Grove Lane and San Anselmo Avenue at 2:15 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation on Crescent Road at 5:32 p.m.

Vehicle Tampering: A resident reported someone entered his car on San Anselmo Avenue and damaged his steering column. It has happened in the past.

Juvenile: A resident requested assistance with her juvenile daughter on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:36 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: A man drive down the street to a dead end at 8:51 p.m. and was circling the area. A resident followed the car to Bolinas Avenue and Richmond Road before losing it.

Saturday, Oct. 22 

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported someone has been spitting on her car on Butterfield Road.

Barking Dog: A resident reported a habitual barking dog on Jordan Avenue. Officer left a notice at the door.

Suspicious Person: A man seemed to be very high or intoxicated on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:06 p.m. He had a bike with him and met up with other subjects.

Vandalism: There was vandalism to a concrete garbage receptacle on Greenfield Avenue.

Barking Dog: A resident reported a barking dog on Laurel Avenue at 10:13 p.m. Officer left a notice for the owner. 

Friday, Oct. 21

Barking Dog: A barking dog was reported on Laurel Avenue at 1:46 p.m.

Solicitor: There was a solicitor on Sais Avenue who was acting strangely at 2:14 p.m.

Missing Person: An elderly man was reported missing on Mariposa Avenue at 3:53 p.m. He was later located.

Noise: There was loud music, possibly from a car in the area of Fern Lane and San Anselmo Avenue, at 7:37 p.m.

Noise: A neighbor was using a chainsaw in the parking lot on Belle Avenue at 10:09 p.m.
