San Anselmo Police: Dog Stolen, Purse Stolen, Threats Made

Thursday, Oct. 6

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a possible physical altercation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:18 a.m. Officers mediated the situation, which was verbal only.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking at Butterfield Road and Carlson Avenue at 9:12 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two solicitors refused to leave a residence on Lincoln Park at 4:32 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Broadway Avenue at 3:20 a.m., a man was cited and released for driving without a license.

Petty Theft: During the night, items were taken from the trunk of an unlocked car on Greenfield Avenue.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Laurel Avenue at 11:43 a.m.

Animal: A dog was off leash on San Anselmo Avenue at 12:09 p.m.

Petty Theft: A resident reported the theft of his dog on Avenue Del Norte.

Stolen Credit Card: A resident reported fraudulent charges on her credit card.

Suspicious Person: There was a suspicious subject at Woodland Avenue and Crescent Road at 4:16 p.m.

Solicitor: There were two solicitors on Greenfield Avenue at 8:37 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A resident reported that her tenant called her and reported a suspicious subject on Sunnyhills Drive at 10:50 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported second-hand information of threats made to a family. Officers found the family was fine.

Sleeper: Subjects were camping in the area of Center Boulevard at 12:18 p.m.

Petty Theft: A purse was stolen from an unlocked car on Ross Avenue.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a disturbance involving her husband on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Officers found no merits to any threats.

Barking Dogs: There were dogs barking on Crescent Road at 6:25 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 3

Fire: There was a smell of smoke on San Anselmo Avenue at 2:56 p.m.

Wires Down: A tree was leaning on power lines on Madrone Avenue and they sparked.

Threats: A subject was threatening a resident’s family members on Berkeley Avenue. Officers contacted the subject, who denied any threats or violence.
