San Anselmo Police: Double DUI, Juveniles with Marijuana

Friday, Dec. 10

Disturbing the Peace: A subject was reported intoxicated and out of control on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard 12:51 a.m. Officers responded and the subject was arrested for public intoxication.

Accident – No Injury: A non-injury accident was blocking the intersection at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 6:22 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: There were reports of leaf blowers being used on Laurel Avenue and at Redwood Road and Olive Avenue.

Juvenile Laws: Juveniles were cited for being in possession of marijuana on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:24 p.m.

Petty Theft: There was a report of petty theft on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:40 p.m.

Grand Theft: An officer took a report of grand theft on San Anselmo Avenue at 4:14 p.m.

Shots Fired: Residents reported hearing shots fired in the area of Morningside Drive, Suffield Avenue and on Camino de Herrera at 8:50 p.m. Officers responded and determined it was most likely fireworks.

Thursday, Dec. 9

Sleeper: There was a sleeper on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:47 a.m. Officer contacted, warned and abated the subjects.

Municipal Code Violation: A resident reported that a neighbor had been using a leaf blower on Laurel Avenue at 11:13 a.m.

Petty Theft: There was a report of stolen computers on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:22 p.m.

Accident – No Injury – DUI Driver: A resident on Suffield Avenue reported that his car had been hit while parked in front of his house at 11 p.m. The car that hit his was still on the scene, but the driver had fled on foot. Officers located the driver at his residence and it was determined that he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked at the county jail.

DUI: At a traffic stop on Suffield Avenue at 11:24 p.m., related to the previous incident, a woman was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and booked into the county jail.
