San Anselmo Police: Dracula, Loud Music, DUIs

Sunday, Aug. 21
Noise: There was a loud party on Hawthorne Avenue at 1:33 a.m.
Vandalism: A neighbor’s house and street area on Park Drive had toilet paper thrown everywhere sometime during the night.

Harassment: A resident on Belle Avenue reported that her neighbor had been harassing her and her family.
Noise: There was loud music on Floribel Avenue at 3:27 p.m.

Sleeper: A man was sleeping in a car on Mariposa Avenue at 5:07 p.m. He advised he was resting after hiking in the area.
Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported an intruder in his residence on San Anselmo Avenue at 6:05 p.m. and said he knew the subject. The parties were separated.
Noise: There was loud music coming from a neighbor’s backyard on Rutherford Avenue at 7:18 p.m.
Noise: A resident reported loud music on Floribel Avenue earlier in the day and called to report it was back up.
Noise: There was loud music on Tunstead Avenue at 8:27 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 20
Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to a report of a panhandler and a man was contacted on Center Boulevard at 4:41 p.m. and he was found to have outstanding warrants. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Accident – Minor Injury: A resident reported he was involved in a car accident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:34 p.m.
Petty Theft: A resident reported her wallet and cell phone were stolen from on top of a fence at a residence on Alderney Road.
Driving Under the Influence: A possible DUI driver was reported at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Calumet Avenue at 9:25 p.m. Officers located a driver, who was determined to be intoxicated. She was arrested and booked at the county jail.
Shots Fired: A resident reported what sounded like a gunshot on Foss Avenue at 9:26 p.m.
Noise: A group of juveniles was making excessive noise on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 19
Vandalism: There was vandalism to a car on Smith Lane at 8:38 p.m.
Suspicious Person: A resident reported a man came to her business on San Anselmo Avenue wearing all black and said he was Dracula at 9:34 a.m. An officer contacted a subject, who matched the description, but denied claiming he was Dracula.
Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower in use on Mariposa Avenue at 1:26 p.m., in violation of the ordinance.
Suspicious Person: A man was going up to several residences on Pine Street and looking inside at 4:07 p.m. Officers located the subject, who submitted to voluntary searches of his person and car. Nothing suspicious was found.
Animal: A deer was hit at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue at 6:57 p.m.
Driving Under the Influence: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Shaw Drive at 8:43 p.m., a driver was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Warrant Arrest: At a traffic stop at Butterfield Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:54 p.m., a driver was determined to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and booked at the county jail.
Public Intoxication: An intoxicated subject was reported walking on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:42 p.m. He was arrested.
