Driving Under the Influence: At a traffic stop at Fourth Street and West Crescent Drive in San Rafael at 1:47 a.m., a man was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and without a valid driver's license. He was arrested and booked in the county jail.
Fire: Assist a brush fire in open space on Santa Barbara Avenue at 6:33 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: A number of garage sale and real estate signs were removed.
Noise: A band was playing in the park on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:37 p.m.

Found: A bike was left in the front yard of a residence on Sais Avenue.
Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to a car accident at Butterfield Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:01 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant. He was booked into the county jail without incident.
Noise: There was an excessively loud party on Magnolia Avenue at 6:10 p.m.
Noise: There was loud music on San Anselmo Avenue for two hours. An officer contacted the responsible person, who was having a small concert with amplified speakers, they were warned and shut it down.
Saturday, Aug. 7
Suspicious Circumstances: Someone reported that at a residence on Butterfield Road that was supposed to be vacant there were people inside at 1:19 a.m. Officers found the house secure.
Domestic Violence: There was a report of a domestic violence dispute on San Anselmo Avenue at 8:13 a.m. An officer responded, but the man had already left the scene. Later in the day, male subject was taken into custody.
Burglary: There was a burglary on Woodside Drive.
Petty Theft: Someone cut the catalytic converter off a car on Camino de Herrera overnight.
Suspicious Circumstances: A car was traveling at a high speed on San Anselmo Avenue at 3:32 p.m.
Found: A pair of glasses were found on the lawn in front of the library.
Suspicious Vehicle: There was a dark-colored car in the parking lot on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:55 p.m. with its engine running.
