San Anselmo Police: DUI with Baby in Car, Peeping Tom

Sunday, Oct. 2

Citizen Assist: An officer assisted a resident who had run out of gas on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and transported her to her residence at 1:02 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Police assistance was requested at Alderney Road and El Cerrito Avenue at 2:34 a.m., but did not specify why. A subject was found lying in the street. He did not need medical attention and was transported home.

Petty Theft: A bike was stolen on Meadowcroft Drive.

Stolen Vehicle: A resident reported his car was stolen off San Anselmo Avenue in the last couple days.

Reckless Driving: A driver was weaving in his lane on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:36 p.m. Officers contacted the driver and there was no merit to a DUI.

Driving Under Influence: A woman with a baby in the car was swerving and driving very slowly on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:22 p.m. A resident followed the car from Ross and reported it was also drifting into the other lane. The driver was determined to be driving under the influence and was booked into the county jail for DUI and child endangerment.

Reckless Driving: A driver was seen swerving at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue at 9:16 p.m. He was determined to be fatigued.

Suspicious Person: Two older teens were sitting in front of a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:44 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 1

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported an abated physical altercation and that some subjects were left in the car at Memorial Park at 12:41 a.m. Officers checked the area and transported two subjects to their residence.

Noise: There was a verbal altercation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:06 a.m. Officers located a party.

Noise: There were loud juveniles in the area of Belle Avenue at 1:18 a.m.

Peeping: A resident reported that her ex-husband jumped over her fence and was looking into the residence on Magnolia Avenue at 3:36 a.m. Officers arrested the man, who was booked for peeping into the county jail.

Reckless Driving: There was a reckless driving at Sir Francis Drake and Center Boulevards.

Accident – Minor Injury: There were multiple reports of a car v. pedestrian accident at Sunnyhills Drive and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:07 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to Marin General with minor injuries.

Juveniles: Loud juveniles on Cordone Avenue were possibly drinking at 6:34 p.m. Officer contacted a group of juveniles, who were not drinking.

Juveniles: A resident reported that while she was driving down Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:05 p.m., a group of juveniles appeared to be in a physical altercation. Officers responded and found they were just playing around.

Noise: There was a loud group of juveniles on Ash Avenue at 9:45 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 30

Suspicious Circumstances: Two juveniles reported a suspicious man at San Anselmo and Tunstead Avenues at 7:37 a.m.

Barking Dog: There was a barking dog on Laurel Avenue at 3:54 p.m.

Vehicle Mishap: A driver accidentally drove off the road on Scenic Avenue at 7:26 p.m.

Burglary: Items were taken from a residence on Oak Avenue at 7:53 p.m.

Noise: There was a loud group of juveniles on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:32 p.m.
