San Anselmo Police: Fire, Burglars Flee, Assault

The following information was provided by the San Anselmo Police. It does not indicate conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 28

Fire: There was a small fire on the side of the road at Red Hill and Sequoias Avenues at 1:23 a.m. It appeared to be out, but was smoldering.

Disturbing the Peace: A man was yelling and possibly hurt on Ross Avenue at 1:49 a.m. Officers located two subjects who were being rowdy.

Solicitor: A solicitor was on private property on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and refused to leave at 11:34 a.m.

Noise: There was loud music at Memorial Park at 12:43 p.m. Officers advised it was part of a town-sanctioned event.

Annoying Phone Calls: A resident reported harassing phone calls on Sycamore Avenue at 9:57 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 27

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a suspicious vehicle parked on Oak Avenue at 8:23 a.m. Officers were unable to locate the car.

Lost Property: A resident reported losing a panel to a jump house. They weren’t sure where it was lost.

Barking Dog: Three dogs were barking on Rivera Avenue at 10:14 p.m.

Warrant Arrest: Officers located a subject, who had an outstanding warrant on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:26 p.m. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Reckless Driving: A car was driving the wrong way at San Anselmo and Woodland Avenues at 11:46 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 26

Barking Dog: A dog was barking at a residence on Oak Springs Drive at 4:25 a.m. Officer located the dog and an open door.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:40 a.m.

Burglary: A woman returned home on Summit Road and found two unknown men in her residence at 10:03 a.m. Following a pursuit and traffic collision, two men were taken into custody. They were arrested and booked for burglary and robbery.

Juveniles: Teenagers were being rowdy at the playground at Memorial Park and were scaring children at 3:20 p.m.

Juveniles: Two male juveniles were on the roof of a building at Memorial Park at 4:38 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Scenic Avenue at 5:31 p.m.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon: Following a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Sycamore Avenue, a woman was arrested and booked into the county jail for assault with a deadly weapon at 7:38 p.m.

Noise: Loud music was coming from a car in the driveway of a residence on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:18 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 25

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop in San Rafael at 1 a.m., a man was determined to be driving without a valid license. He was cited and released and the car was parked in the area.

Solicitor: Solicitors on the property of United Market were refusing to leave at 10:09 a.m.

Solicitor: Solicitors on Center Boulevard were refusing to leave at 10:55 a.m.

Terrorist Threats: A resident reported that her sister made threats against her.

Suspicious Person: A man was singing on Chipman Plaza at 9:35 p.m.
