San Anselmo Police: Gas Leak, Eggings, DUI

Thursday, Nov. 3

Fire: There was a report of a natural gas line break on Jordan Avenue at 10:12 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A suspicious subject was on Tunstead Avenue at 12:54 p.m.

Reckless Driving: A car was not stopping at stop signs at San Anselmo and San Rafael Avenues.

Accident: There was a vehicle collision on Angela Avenue at 3:19 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A neighbor was throwing bottles onto a resident’s deck on Forbes Avenue.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Crescent Road at 8:28 p.m.

Wedneday, Nov. 2

Driving Under the Influence: At a traffic stop at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 12:29 a.m., a woman was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and booked into the county jail without incident.

Suspicious Circumstances: A suspicious subject was on Butterfield Road at 11:35 a.m.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Laurel Avenue and the owner was notified by telephone

Accident – No Injury: A resident was involved in a collision at Saunders and Park Avenues at 1:14 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported that her neighbor had been yelling at her through the wall and throwing things on San Anselmo Avenue at 2:49 p.m.

Juvenile: A resident reported that she needed assistance with her son who was out of control and throwing things inside her car while driving.

Municipal Code Violation: A leaf blower was in use on San Rafael Avenue at 3:31 p.m.

Accident – No Injury: Officers responded to a non-injury collision at Bridge Avenue and Center Boulevard at 5:55 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

Disturbing the Peace: A man was yelling and swearing at a woman on Sir Francis Drake Bouleavrd at 12:45 a.m. It was a verbal argument only.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Tamalpais Avenue at 2:04 p.m.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Butterfield Road at 2:17 p.m. No barking was heard while the officer was on the scene.

Stolen Vehicle: A car was stolen from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Butterfield Road at 4:06 p.m.

Smoke: An officer checked the area for smoke seen and smelled on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:35 p.m. A resident was using an enclosed fir pit.

Noise: There was loud drumming at Oak Knoll and San Anselmo Avenues at 10:50 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 31

Vandalism: A resident reported that a man with blue paint on his face ran from him on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. The resident called back and said the man put glue in some locks.

Sleeper: A subject was sleeping in her car at Memorial Park at 3:56 a.m. She told officers she got into a fight with her boyfriend earlier and needed to leave the house.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:30 a.m., a man was found to be driving without a license. He was cited and released and his car was left legally parked for a licensed driver to pick up.

Fraud: A resident reported ATM withdrawals made in southern California from her account, but she had all her cards.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at Butterfield Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:48 a.m., a man was determined to be driving while unlicensed. He was cited and released and his car was left legally parked.

Found: A purse and clothing was found in a resident’s backyard on Crescent Road.

Accident – No Injury: There was a non-injury collision at San Anselmo and Ross Avenues at 10:33 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: There was a non-injury collision on Red Hill Avenue at 10:52 a.m.

Petty Theft: A resident reported a stolen iPod.

Fire: There was a possible illegal fire pit in the back yard on Floribel Avenue at 8:12 p.m.

Fraud: Someone has opened at least one credit account with a resident’s information.

Juvenile: A resident reported that multiple groups of juveniles were running all over Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and egging buildings at 8:44 p.m. Officers contacted two male subjects. A juvenile was cited for a violation and released to a parent.

Juvenile: A group of male juveniles was yelling in the street at Suffield and Bennitt Avenues at 9:28 p.m. and got into a car and sped off. Another call pulled up and they were egging each other.
