San Anselmo Police: Juveniles Drinking, Family Disturbance, Roommate Fight Over Rent

Sunday, March 27

Driving without a License: An arrest was made following a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:04 a.m.

Accident – No Injury: A woman reported that she was involved in a collision at Madrone Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:49 a.m.

Accident – Minor Injury: A car was rear-ended on Greenfield Avenue at 1:32 p.m.

Fire: A resident needed assistance with his garage door since the power was out on Oak Springs Drive.

Juvenile: Someone hit a softball at the resident’s window on Sunnyhills Drive, but it didn’t break. Officers contacted the responsible party, but the subject reported they went back to playing after the officer left.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported that his wife and son were in an altercation on Sequoia Drive at 7:15 p.m. Officers determined that the wife was having a stressful day and was having a verbal outburst and the son was upset by this.

Warrant Arrest: Officer contacted two subjects in a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:35 p.m. A woman was determined to have two misdemeanor warrants out of Marin County and was booked without incident.

Disturbing the Peace: There was an anonymous report of yelling and screaming on Broadmoor Avenue at 9:40 p.m., followed by the sound of a window shattering. The resident saw a man and woman hitting each other, as another man yelled for them to leave. Both left on foot. Officers found broken glass and blood at the house. It was determined to be a family fight and the son smashed the window, cutting himself.

Prowler: A resident heard something downstairs in the basement on Woodland Avenue at 10:34 p.m.

Saturday, March 26

Juvenile: A juvenile left a residence on San Anselmo Avenue with a bottle of alcohol at 1:19 a.m.

Juvenile: While on foot, officers located three subjects drinking alcohol on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:35 a.m. The adult was abated from the area and the juveniles were cited for minor in possession of alcohol and minor in possession of marijuana.

Battery: A resident reported a physical altercation with his roommate over a rent dispute.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking at a residence on Greenfield Avenue at 12:38 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject was knocking on a resident’s door on Traxler Road at 1:32 p.m. Officers contacted a representative from AT&T, who was providing information door to door.

Hit and Run: There was a hit and run collision at the Hub at 6:35 p.m.

Fire: A resident reported smelling an electrical fire in the residence on Buena Vista Avenue at 9:43 p.m.

Missing Person: A resident reported that her adult daughter had not returned home.

Noise: A subject was revving his engine on Magnolia Avenue at 10:57 p.m.

Friday, March 25

Wires Down: Wires were hanging down two-feet from the ground on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:54 a.m.

Fraud: A resident reported that someone used his social security number to open an account.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported that a former friend was outside his car and causing a disturbance on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:16 p.m.

Vandalism: A group of juveniles at Center Boulevard and San Anselmo Avenue were destroying planter boxes at 9:51 p.m. Officers contacted the juveniles, who were detained.
